Hi there, we are Ash and Isa and would love to meet new beautiful souls on our travels, make friendships for a lifetime and just have a great time together. Ash is from New Zealand and I’m originally from Germany. I came a few months before C*vid to New Zealand and stayed here ever since. I’ve lived in a few places in New Zealand and then one day it happened that Ash and I met, fell in love and we can’t imagine a life without each other anymore. We plan to live here indefinitely.

This summer is going to be the first time since Ash, and I are going to leave New Zealand for a 2-month travel to Canada!! We are so excited!
When we are thinking of doing volunteer work, we think about helping each other out, dipping in another household and seeing a normal day at work on the other side of the world. Those are the moments which make travelling so fascinating, exciting and addictive. An experience we could never get while paying for it. We would love to share our travel story’s, work experience as well as our culture with you and would love to hear about yours as well.

Ash (the left on the picture) is a site engineer and used to travel a lot through Europe and lived in the U.K. for a couple years. He’s done heaps of jobs, mostly physical jobs and has a lot of experience in all sorts of fields. He is very talented and has an eye to detail. We both are very animal friendly and grew up with animals around us.
I have a hospitality / hotel management diploma and worked in the hotel industry for several years. Lately, the last couple of years, I’m working as the executive assistant at the reception as well as housekeeper. I’ve done several housekeeping, babysitting, waitress, pack house, orchard jobs. I travelled a lot through Europe as well as Australia where I spent a total of 9 months mostly travelling. As I’ve been here all lockdown through, I had the opportunity of Ash being able to show me heaps of New Zealand. I’m always open if someone wants to improve their German skills – I’m more than welcome to help you out 😊

We love the adventure, exploring new areas, going for hikes, bike rides, hitting the road or just laying back on a kayak while being in an absolute paradise. As much as we love the activities, we also love our relaxing time to recharge. Being able to read a book while drinking a hot Choco and eating some snacks, listening to music, doing some yoga or laying at the beach just feels like the right mediation for us.

We are always up for any kind of activity! Would love to have a great time, helping each other out, sharing stories and cultures while having a cup of tea after a day of work in front of a bonfire! :)

We currently located on the South Island in NZ and going to be in Canada from mid-June until the end of August.

  Ash and I don’t like to call ourselves vegan but we’re mostly following a vegan lifestyle. With an exception that we’re eating fish. We also eat gluten free products and try to include heaps of vegetables or fruit to our daily routine.
