Hi :)


I'm Hannes.
I'm from Belgium. Most of the time I'm traveling hoping to have lots of adventures.
The main reason why I use workaway is to learn more about other cultures, see how people putting effort in how to live in a eco-friendly way.

Just finished my trip in Australia, where I worked and traveled.

I like hiking, doing sports, meditation, having a healthy life style. Making food together and sitting around a campfire.

Hopefully this information gives you sort of an idea who I am and.

I did al kinds of things in my life that gave me a lot of skills.
When i was young i helped out my father with his job placing fences wich was kind of hard work. At the moment I'm still in a good physical shape haha :)

Over the last few years my cooking skills developed and for now i can say that they are pretty ok. I like create a nice meal Ith a lot of organic food (since most off the time I'm Vegan)

Recently I did a full conversion of a van and made it into a nice home with some help off people.. where me and my wife live in.

Most of my working years i worked as a truck driver. This part of my life i decided to leave behind because i want to be able to connect more with nature and not sit in a truck the whole day.

I'm a punctual person that always wants to finish the job and tries to keep things tidy.
But i I'm always up for a laugh as well :)

I often go running/walking/cycling.. Really want to learn how to surf! Definitely on top of my bucket list.

For the last few years i worked on eating healthier and took the intresst to do a ayurvedic course wich was alot about nutrition/herbalism and how our body reacts on food. I love creating new combinations with food and see what i can learn about cooking.
