Hi,
I am a student from Freiburg, Germany (27 years old) and who studied in Oslo for one semester and fell in love with Norway while traveling. I am back for summer now, because I just missed it too much. Mostly looking for a place with animals (dogs would be amazing).
What makes me happy:
nature, being active outdoors, animals (especially dogs), gardening and working with my hands, swimming in every water I encounter, enjoying a cup of coffee with someone, accomplishing things, where I can see what I have done, social (and political) work/engagement, deep conversations and feeling connected to the people and the place around me.
What I struggle with:
I have decreased hearing ability - so conversation in loud environment takes a lot of energy from me. Besides that I need direct and honest communication, it makes me uncomfortable when I dont know what is going on with the people around me regarding to my job and behaviour.

-internships during my time on a waldorf school
-internship with vet
-volunteer work in Camphills (communities where people with disabilites live and work together)
-volunteer work in Georgia, being responsible for the gardening and farm team of the community
-woofing experience in the black forest, Germany 2021
2. in childcare and social work with people with disabilites
-8 nephews and nieces
-taking care of children since 2012 including children with special needs
-social internships

Astrid was with us in January for around 2-3 weeks. She trained my 4 polar dogs by walking and by tricycle. She fed the dogs morning and evening and they enjoyed it. She worked a lot with birch wood in the garage. Otherwise, she took part in various chores around the house. She is a kind and decent person whom I would recommend

I visited Solaug and Bella, Maya,Aisa And Arya in January for around 2-3 weeks and I loved my time there. I miss the mornings feeding the dogs and getting greeted with so much joy and enthusiam. I really got to love them. The training was fun with a three-wheeled bike and when the sun was out it was beautiful!

I was at Kristins place in May and took care of her two incredible dogs. I am very thankful that I could have this experience, I loved to spend time with the dogs and take them on long walks through the forest.
