We're a boutique mountain lodge situated in a Unesco Biosphere reserve at the base of Mt Tanigawa, in Gunma, Japan. For nature lovers, there's a pristine mountain stream and waterfall right beside the lodge and great hiking in the mountains and valleys. Projects for this year include building a sauna, developing outdoor dining and general improvements, repairs and maintenance.

Join a relaxed community of outdoor enthusiasts. Hobbies around here in the green season include swimming in idyllic natural rivers, hiking, climbing, canyoning, rafting, BBQs and campfires as night falls.

The lodge is reasonably large, 2000 square meters. There is always plenty to do and jobs that spring to mind include painting, landscaping in the garden, help with guests from a hospitality perspective and cleaning. We offer accommodation, meals and salary of Y1000/hr.
