  Join our Service and Therapy Dogs breeding program in El Salvador! The Association is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us for a 10-day tryout.
  
  Our breeding program is focused on providing service dogs to people with disabilities and professionals who wish to offer therapy dogs as an additional service to their business. We are looking for people with experience in veterinary techniques and social media content production to join our team.

  If you're interested in participating in this cultural exchange program in El Salvador, you can benefit in numerous ways. You'll have the chance to learn about the country's rich history, culture, and customs, and gain insights into social justice and the Service/Therapy Dog world. Additionally, you can develop new skills, such as cooking local cuisine and making handicrafts. Immersing yourself in the Spanish language and learning about different veterinary professions can inspire you to join our team or even start your own project! Overall, cultural exchange in El Salvador offers you a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and make a positive impact in our project.

  Ayuda

  As a volunteer at the Association's service and therapy dogs breeding program, you'll have the opportunity to assist with breeding and training dogs, as well as daily tasks such as feeding, grooming, and exercising the animals. If you have experience in veterinary techniques, you'll be responsible for providing medical care and support to the animals. If you have social media content production skills, you'll help to promote the breeding program and create engaging content for social media platforms.
  
  You'll participate in a 10-day tryout, working 5 hours a day, with meals and lodging provided. If the tryout is a positive experience for both parties, there may be opportunities to continue as an unpaid or paid staff member. The Association is looking for volunteers who are passionate about animal welfare, have experience in veterinary techniques or social media content production, and are interested in contributing to the breeding and training of service and therapy dogs.

  Alojamiento

  We provide breakfast and lunch only on working days, you can join the communal evening meal if you participate. You will have a "Casita" little service house room for the tryout duration. We have a room with hot water bathroom available for paid staff if needed.

  WARNING - This can be a smelly job and the animals come first. Humans are well treated too... ; )
  WORK - Note that we are in the beginning of our project and are still setting and this is why we need help. Unless you have veterinary or training experience, most of the jobs are about cleaning. You will be trained to groom the dogs and if you have the abilities, you can walk the dogs too. Petting dogs all day is not the work here!
  LOCATION - Santa Tecla is a very trendy and safe area part of the capital San Salvador, perfect to meet the real local life away from the touristy areas. Transports are cheap and the famous Tunco beach is only 40 min away.
