Hello! We are a happy family (a nutritionist and two teenagers) developing a holistic nutrition and wellness business west of Whitehorse. Our home has a beautiful view, is quiet, comfortable, spacious. We have dogs and chickens. Whitehorse, Haines Junction, Kusawa Lake, and Kluane National Park are within a 30-45 minute drive. Hiking, fishing, hunting, canoeing, bird watching, skating or skiing are all nearby.
We are seeking workawayers to share interests, knowledge and friendships :) We would suit persons who enjoy nature, community, and well-being... and who have an interest in experiencing true Yukon wilderness!
While we appreciate the many skills you might have to share with us, what we really need help with right now is at-home support with cooking and light housecleaning. Mom is rebuilding her business after a two year break, and needs extra time to dedicate to study and revising her programs.
We are travellers ourselves, so we are flexible and supportive of your travel goals and can recommend or even help you organize some great trips. We also accommodate most dietary needs. We collect our food and medicine from the land as much as possible and otherwise eat real foods.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

We are seeking travelers to share interests, knowledge and friendships :) We would suit persons who enjoy nature, natural health care and healing, community life, and well-being. I am often doing lots of fermenting (sauerkraut, kimchi, pickles, cheese, sourdough, etc) and am happy to show you how to do this :) We are do-it-yourself kinda people and almost always have a hands-on project on the go.
Ayuda
The type of tasks we need help with vary according to season. In the winter, I am doing a lot of driving and works full-time, so helping with meals, keeping the wood-stove (fire) going and the house tidy are a priority.
There are also outdoor jobs to do like yard maintenance, walking the dogs, keeping the chickens happy, and a renovation project in the guest suite (if you're a handy type :)
If you enjoy being around healthy people, gardening, cooking, renovation/building projects, healing arts, hunting, foraging, caring for animals, and interacting with community, you'll likely enjoy your time here.Idiomas

We're not keen on refined/processed snack foods, so bring your own if that is something you like to have.
