Ayuda
For lovers of youth or future or current teachers, our program brings together the best of service, teaching and learning.
Monday to Thursday, you'll take a long walk or a short motorcycle ride over to work at a local school in our area.
The children at our school have special needs and most use wheelchairs, crutches or walkers. Participants are welcome to audit classrooms during their first 3 days and then create lesson plans in partnership with the teachers per the curriculum.
Reading books to the children is also and important academic activity that improves their verbal English language comprehension.
Artistic, creative activities like drawing, watercolor painting, beaded crafts, origami, and playing traditional Ugandan drums are as enjoyable for the children as for the volunteers.Idiomas

Since the House is kosher, there is no kitchen access for guests but we will prepare food at your request. You are welcome to keep your beverages cold in our guest refrigerator.
The House observes Jewish traditions on Shabbat (Friday night to Saturday at sundown) and we refrain from playing music, noise from phones and playing the television in the common areas on this day.
