  Hi I'm Cora ! I'm a foster family and I just bought a house and land in Creuse that will slowly transform into a small fruits farm. My aim is to welcome people as I welcome children and to create a place where we can share and build something based on nature and healthy relationships. I traveled and used Workaway a lot when I was in my twenties, and I couldn't wait to have my place to welcome you the same way I've been welcomed all around the world.
  
  Bonjour, je m'appelle Coralie, je suis famille d'accueil pour enfants et je viens d'acheter une maison et du terrain en Creuse. Le but est de créer un endroit où on peut partager et construire du collectif, basé sur le respect de la nature et des relations saines. Je suis également en train d'installer une production de petits fruits sur le terrain. J'ai beaucoup voyagé et utilisé workaway pendant un temps, et je me suis toujours dit qu'un jour ça sera mon tour d'accueillir sur ma ferme :)

  I've always wanted to be a workaway host, can't wait to share with you anything you want to know about France or the places I've seen. I have a pretty active social life and I love hiking and looking around my countryside, all things I can share with you :)

  Ayuda

  Everything needs to be done around here, so there's place for what you want to do or what you want to learn how to do ! Here's what I think I'll do in 2024, don't hesitate to message me if you have a specific time frame in mind and want to see where you can contribute :
  Winter : Preparing the earth for the vegetables and small fruits (lasagnas). Install the irrigation system. Small things to build and repair inside the house.
  Spring : Implanting the vegetables area. Start wood collecting. Mowing (with a scythe, I can teach you!). Start on the build of the earth and wood veranda.
  Summer : Mowing. Still the veranda. Enjoying the good weather!
  Autumn : Implanting the fruits (raspberry, redcurrant...). Harvesting. The veranda. Looking for mushrooms ;)
  I also always appreciate the time and knowledge you can share with the children, it's really enriching for them to hear other languages and learn about other cultures.
  
  I ask for 4 hours of work on every week day. Relaxing on saturday and sunday.
  
  Il y a un peu tout à faire, donc il y a de la place pour vos envies de partage et d'apprentissage ! Voilà ce que j'ai l'intention de faire en 2024, n'hésitez pas à me demander des précisions en fonction de vos dates :
  Hiver : Préparer la terre pour le potager et les petits fruits (paillage, lasagnes). Installer le système d'irrigation. Plein de petits choses à construire et réparer dans la maison.
  Printemps : Le potager. Commencer à collecter du bois. Faucher (avec une faux traditionnelle, je peux vous apprendre). Début du projet véranda en terre/paille.
  Eté : Faucher, la véranda, profiter du beau temps!
  Automne : Plantation des rangs de petits fruits. Récoltes. La véranda. Chercher des champignons ;)
  J'apprécie également le temps que vous pouvez passer avec les enfants. C'est vraiment enrichissant pour eux de découvrir d'autres cultures, d'autres idées ...
  
  Je vous propose 4 heures de travail tous les jours de la semaine. Repos le samedi/dimanche.

  Alojamiento

  House : I live in a comfortable house with wifi, heating and hot showers. There's a private bedroom with a double bed for you. It's big, and it's possible to add a mattress (or two) on the floor for kids. There's also a lot of space outside for vans, trailers, tiny, tents ... I hope in the future to build an autonomous space for travelers (one of the many projects you can get involved with if you want to).
  
  Food : I'm providing breakfast + 2 vegan meals a day !
  
  Maison : J'habite dans une petite maison confortable avec du wifi, chauffage et douche. Il y a une chambre privée avec un lit double. C'est assez grand pour ajouter un ou deux matelas par terre si besoin. Il y a aussi plein de place dehors pour les tentes, van, caravane, tiny ... J'espère un jour construire un espace autonome pour les voyageurs.
  
  Nourriture : J'offre le petit déj + 2 repas vegan par jour !

  I live in the middle of the country, it's hard to go anywhere without a car. There's a bus stop to go to Clermont-Ferrand a 20 minutes drive from home if you want to go to the city. There's also a lot of great hiking one hour drive from the house in the Sancy Mountains or in Creuse around the small lakes. There's also the biggest buddhist temple in France 20 minutes away (I'm buddhist). I also enjoy all outdoors activities, board games, going dancing, looking around flea markets ... in the summer there's a lot of things happening around here.
  
  J'habite en pleine campagne, c'est compliqué de se déplacer sans voiture. Il y a un arrêt de bus pour Clermont-Ferrand à 20min. Plein de super randos dans le Sancy, la Chaine des Puys ou les lacs de Creuse (1h de route). Il y a aussi le plus grand temple bouddhiste de France à 20 minutes. Sinon, j'aime randonner et passer du temps dehors, faire des jeux de société, aller danser, chiner dans les marchés ... en été il se passe pas mal de choses dans le coin.

  There's a good internet connexion and room to work in the house. Bonne connexion internet, et de la place pour travailler dans la maison.
