English:
I'm currently a student at the University of Michigan on summer break. I'm looking to spend my time traveling and experiencing Latin American culture...perhaps learning to salsa!

I love being outdoors (hiking, biking, backpacking), listening to music, reading, rock climbing, playing board games, and cooking.

I'm a hard worker, and have also previously WWOOFed in Puerto Rico on a farm. I'm a quick learner, and will work to accomplish whatever tasks you need from me. I'm fluent in English. I am very good at Spanish, but I do find colloquial conversation and grammar difficult, and would love to have a language exchange to help me improve!

I'm most interested in spending my summer with people who are open to teaching me new things and exposing me to new points of view. I'm looking forward to the experience and learning more about Colombia!

Soy estudiante en la Universidad de Michigan tomando las vacaciones de verano. Estoy buscando pasar mi tiempo viajando y experimentando la cultura latinoamericana... ¡tal vez aprendiendo salsa!

Me encanta estar al aire libre (caminar, andar en bicicleta, viajar con mochila), escuchar música, leer, escalar rocas, jugar juegos de mesa y cocinar.

Soy un gran trabajador y anteriormente también hice WWOOF en Puerto Rico en una granja. Aprendo rápido y trabajaré para realizar cualquier trabajo que necesites de mí. Hablo inglés con fluidez. Soy bueno en español, pero encuentro difícil la conversación coloquial y la gramática, ¡y me encantaría tener un intercambio de idiomas que me ayude a mejorar!

Lo que más me interesa es pasar el verano con personas que estén abiertas a enseñarme cosas nuevas y exponerme a nuevos puntos de vista. ¡Estoy deseando vivir la experiencia y aprender más sobre Colombia!

English:
I have done a large amount of manual labor including gardening, landscaping, cleaning, and field work.

I have spent a significant amount of time outdoors. I bike almost every day. I also recently hiked the Camino de Santiago in Spain. I also worked as a restaurant manager on Big Sky Resort in Montana.

I have spent significant time on an organic farm through the WWOOF program, and have experience with crop maintenance and the use of various hand tools. I studied Environmental Science as an undergraduate, so I am very familiar with ecology and the natural world. I have never worked as a teacher, but I have done some tutoring, and I would be interested in gaining more experience in this area.

In general, I am a hard worker and a quick learner, so I believe I could accomplish most tasks if given some guidance.

He realizado una gran cantidad de trabajos manuales que incluyen jardinería, paisajismo, limpieza y trabajo de campo.

He pasado una cantidad grande de tiempo al aire libre. Viajo en bicicleta casi todos los días. También hice recientemente el Camino de Santiago en España. También trabajé como gerente de restaurante en Big Sky Resort en Montana.

He pasado mucho tiempo en una granja orgánica a través del programa WWOOF y tengo experiencia en el mantenimiento de cultivos y el uso de diversas herramientas manuales. Estudié Ciencias Ambientales como estudiante universitario, por lo que estoy muy familiarizado con la ecología y el mundo natural. Nunca he trabajado como docente, pero he realizado algunas tutorías y me interesaría adquirir más experiencia en esta área.

En general, soy un gran trabajador y aprendo rápido, por lo que creo que podría realizar la mayoría de las tareas si me dieran alguna orientación.
