Hey Folks!

I'm Erik, a 20-year-old from Germany travelling whenever I get the opportunity and always on the hunt for new adventures!

I'm someone who is always eager to learn about new things and to get new perspectives on life, work, etc. I am open to adapt to a lot of new situations, be it things of everyday life like different eating habits and traditions or about the kind of job to do - I will find a way to get it done ;) As I have worked in many different areas, I have got experience in farm work, carpentry, I've worked as a server, as a tree planter and many other things! At the moment I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in IT. I am however certainly not limited to these kinds of jobs, as I want to always have an open mindset, and I'm more than willing to broaden my knowledge in whatever area I work in.

Non-work-wise, I'd say that I am a very nature and culture loving person. I love a simple and remote life that lets me actively explore the nature surrounding me while allowing me to connect to lifestyles that are different from mine. I appreciate a life that both gives me the opportunity to be active and outside, to explore, but that also lets me explore other things such as music, literature, theatre etc. I'm not someone who cannot stand still and enjoy a moment of calmness, but I'm also not someone who is content with sitting around all the time - the right balance is important! Conversations and discussions are something I have always enjoyed when travelling. No matter the topic - I want to see your perspectives!

In general, I would say that I am open to a lot of things and I want to get to know you as a person/ as people as well!

Skills include but are not limited to:

Working
- in agriculture (wine, treeplanting)
-as a server in a restaurant
-retail (shelfstocking etc.)
-on crafts and handyman projects like building and assembling furniture, paintjobs, building stairs, putting down floors...
-building and creating with natural resources (built a clay house once without power tools other than an angle grinder:))
-for associations, clubs, etc.
-with different languages and finding ways to communicate no matter what

I think that these are the most interesting skills I have to offer, but be assured, I learn and adapt pretty quickly and I am eager to get new skills and improving those listed above!
