Hi! My name is Theodora, and I am from Sweden! I have lived here since I was 11 years old, and before that, I was raised in England! Partially London and Buckinghamshire.

I have just graduated from high school (Gymnasiet) in spring 2023, and I am taking a gap year to rest from studying and find out what I want to be.

I am especially interested in animals, mostly horses. I rode very often when I lived in England, and tills I was 14, when my interest died out, and also because it was extremely expensive in Stockholm, where I live. I have started riding again in the last year, and It feels like i never left the saddle. *(I used to read books on horses (both nonfiction and fiction) religiously, and all the information is now forever stored in my brain XD) *

I am eager and fast to learn, I am also very energetic and positive. I love working in a fun team, and in the right crowd, I am quite talkative and extroverted. However, I also enjoy my own company, so there is no issue with being alone for a while. I love painting, sketching and all things creative. I also love doing handiwork, and I have a green thumb and enjoy gardening a lot! I also really want to learn how to hunt and be around hunting/stalking!

My biggest dream is to work on a ranch/alternatively to ride where i can see the mountains, and paint horses and the landscapes of north america!

During my stay in england, I was only working with the horses in the morning, and then I was painting and drawing in the afternoons, -like an artist in residence! I painted their horses and gave them the paintings as a form of payment/thank you.

I also did a bit of shooting, Muntjac, Fallow deer, Pidgeon and clay pigeon is what I have done!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have ridden a lot in my life, and every single day in February! Mostly hacking, and a bit of horse jumping. I would love to learn more, and better techniques.

I love gardening, and have done a lot of it in my life! Mostly at my family country home, where there are lots of trees to be pruned, bushes to be trimmed, weeds to be pulled, and planting to be done. I find it to be very relaxing and also very satisfying.

I have also been a leader at two different child camps, a Rowing camp, and a Pottery and painting camp, where I have gained experience with working with children and taking charge, and also by teaching my skills to others. I also paint quite a bit, not just recreational, but I also have experience with painting houses, interior and exterior, because our family home is in traditional Swedish paint, Falu Röd Färg, which needs to be repainted every other year.

I am quite energetic, and I both Row, ride and dance classical Ballet. I enjoy keeping myself moving and keeping fit. I am optimistic and will always try to look on the bright side of things. I am happy to be in a group, but I work just fine by myself as well.

Was noch ...

I love reading and discussing books and sharing book tips. I also enjoy writing, though I will never share with you what I write! I find it relaxing and a great creative outpost. Knitting is also something I really enjoy, especially when curled up with a hot cup of tea- even better if the weather is moody!
