Beschreibung

My name is Paula Domingo and I am 21 years old. I live in Madrid, a very large and beautiful city where I really enjoy walking and discovering new buildings or areas that I had never seen before.

Right now I am finishing my degree in Biological Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid and although in the future I would like to work as a researcher or as a high school teacher, for now, next year I want to spend traveling and broadening my horizons.
If I had to describe myself in a few words, I would say that I am funny, empathetic and curious, and I always try to wear a smile even in the face of possible adversities.

One of the things I like the most is going on excursions to visit cities or towns or to go to the mountains. Without a doubt, I am a great lover of nature! I love plants and walking through forests observing animals. I also really like to read, paint with watercolors, do all kinds of crafts and ride my bike.

From a very young age she has always had an interest in participating in volunteer projects and in my city I have collaborated with the Red Cross NGO working as a volunteer monitor in a children's day center with children in unfavorable situations. I love being able to help and feel that I am contributing my grain of sand, however small it may be. I also feel that traveling in this way is a great opportunity to network, make new friends with similar tastes and interests, and to soak up other cultures in a way that traveling as a tourist cannot. I would also like to improve my English since I have an intermediate level and I feel that I could improve a lot when it comes to communicating.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have previously worked in a town in emptied Spain, in Soria, so I have a lot of management when it comes to using field tools, clearing brush, cleaning roads, moving heavy stones and I can withstand intense work quite well.
Also at university I am used to doing laboratory work and identification of plants and animals. This last year I have also worked on the farm of my university mainly managing chickens and hens and I have liked it a lot!

I am quite creative and imaginative and am easily entertained in downtime. I love to create "beauty" with my hands, like doing crafts or pressing flowers. I am currently creating a very nice personal herbarium!!

I speak Spanish and I could teach my language to other people. As a secondary language I use English but I don't have much command (an intermediate level B1).
