Hello!
I'm Naomi from Japan and half-Japanese and half-Korean. I grew up in Tokyo and live here now, but I attended university in Korea and my university major was social-welfare. For the past 4 years I worked at one of the major travel agencies in Japan. My new challenge this year is to move to Australia, explore the culture, experience the country’s beautiful nature, and gain new experiences. Given my own intercultural background, I’d like to make friends who are from other countries and enounter different cultures. That is one reason I’d like to be involved in Workaway.

I can speak English well enough for daily conversation but am not fully fluent. So, I’m studying English hard. I’d like to make friends who are from other countries and talk about different cultures.

Among my other personal interests are animals, especially dogs, and nature. I have a dog in Japan adopted from a dog shelter. I was volunteering at a shelter for rescued dogs and cats, washed and fed them, and cleaned their living areas. On my days off, I go mountain climbing and camping. I like to be active in physical activities. Surfing is something I only started recently, but I'm enjoying it once a week.

I respect your culture and will do my best to support you with housework.
