  We are a family of four.
  Alix 13 years old, middle school student
  Zoé 15 years old, schoolgirl
  Nathalie 54 years old, school teacher
  Frank 50 years old, craftsman carpenter
  
  We want to develop a simple and as self-sufficient lifestyle as possible.
  We also want to reappropriate all kinds of know-how.
  
  To do this, we are settling on a building plot of 3000 m² and we have agricultural land to cultivate the vegetable garden and firewood.
  From May 2024, we will build the place where we want to develop this way of life.
  
  - Construction of a wood workshop
  - Construction of different habitats
  - Plantations of fruit trees and edible hedges
  - evolution of the vegetable garden
  
  We have already experienced Workaway, as volunteers, then as hosts, and were delighted with these exchanges. This created powerful encounters and unforgettable moments of sharing!!
  
  We wish to continue this type of adventure and exchange in this new project.
  Frank will give you as many skills as possible in woodworking and wood construction.
  And we will be able to build together, collectively, a place to live in self-sufficiency and resilience with its territory and its inhabitants.
  
  After working together throughout the week, on the weekend we will be able to show you the secret beaches of Cape Sizun, where you can practice surfing or bodyboarding and, if conditions permit, sail aboard our traditional sailboat. .

  Nous souhaitons développer un mode de vie simple et le plus autosuffisant possible.

  Pour se faire, nous nous installons sur un terrain constructible de 3000 m² et nous disposons de terre agricole pour cultiver le jardin potager et le bois de chauffage.
  A partir du mois de mai 2024, nous allons construire le lieu où nous souhaitons développer ce mode de vie.

  Nous avons déjà expérimenté Workaway, en tant que bénévoles, puis en tant qu'hôtes, et avons été ravis de ces échanges. Cela a créé des rencontres fortes et des moments de partage inoubliables !!
  
  Nous souhaitons poursuivre ce type d'aventure et d'échange dans ce nouveau projet.
  Frank vous transmettra un maximum de compétences dans le travail du bois et la construction bois (30 années d'expérience).
  Et nous pourrons construire ensemble, collectivement, un lieu de vie en autosuffisance et en résilience avec son territoire et ses habitants.
  
  Après avoir travaillé ensemble tout au long de la semaine, nous pourrons le week-end vous faire découvrir les plages secrètes du Cap Sizun, où vous pourrez pratiquer le surf ou le bodyboard et si les conditions le permettent, naviguer à bord de notre voilier traditionnel.

  - vous pourrez vous initier ou vous perfectionner au surf (meilleurs spots français)
  
  d'un point de vue apprentissage :
  - vous pourrez découvrir ou approfondir l'apprentissage du travail du bois et de la construction d'habitat en bois (Frank est artisan charpentier depuis 30 ans et il aime communiquer son savoir et ses compétences)
  - vous pourrez participer au jardin potager et découvrir une certaine autonomie alimentaire.

  you can help us develop our project by participating in the following tasks:
  
  - create the masonry foundations and stilts of the houses
  - carve wooden frames and build wooden frame homes
  - Cover roofs with natural slate
  - build a storage tank for rainwater

  - plant hedges
  - gardening to develop the vegetable garden and food autonomy
  - prepare lunch and dinner meals and stock up on supplies (you will be independent for breakfasts and weekend meals)
  
  vous pourrez nous aider à développer notre projet en participant aux taches suivantes :
  
  - réaliser les fondations maçonnées et les pilotis des habitations
  - tailler des charpente en bois et construire des habitats en ossature bois
  - Couvrir les toitures en ardoise naturelle

  - jardiner pour développement le potager et l'autonomie alimentaire
