  We are a hostel located in the rural area of Bogotá, three hours from the city center. Sumapaz is one of the most beautiful places in the capital of Colombia.
  We started this project in 2016 and we continue working on it every day. We are currently looking for volunteers who can help us with different tasks ranging from gardening, general maintenance such as painting or DIY repairs and food preparation, preparing beds , make food for dogs , take care de dogs, train the dogs, help with the cows and more . Sumapaz is the largest páramo in the world and although our house is not located in the páramo area, we are very close in a foggy forest area surrounded by mountains at 2800msnm, we have a river and one waterfall with several farm animals. If you are looking for a break in the mountains to reconnect and you are ok with cold and rustic lifestyle , come and be part of this dream.
  
  
  Somos un hostal ubicado en la zona rural de Bogotá a 3horas del casco urbano en la localidad de sumapaz , uno de los lugares más hermosos de la capital Colombiana.
  Empezamos este proyecto en el 2016 y seguimos trabajando día a día en él. Actualmente estamos buscando voluntarios que nos puedan ayudar en diferentes tareas que van desde jardinería, mantenimiento general como pintura o arreglos de bricolaje , en la preparación de alimentos, cuidado de los animales como perros, gatos ,burro , vacas , entrenar a los perros , hacer las camas del hostal , limpiar los jardines, ayudar con el ordeño entre muchas otras
  Sumapaz es el páramo más grande del mundo y aunque nuestra casa no está ubicada en el área de páramo si estamos muy cerca en un área de bosque de niebla a 2800msnm rodeados de montañas , un rio, una cascada y varios animales de granja. Si estás buscando un descanso en la montaña para reconectar y vivir la vida de campo ven y se parte de este sueño.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  You will have the opportunity to learn about and interact with Colombian culture and the mountainous region. Our hostel has a river and a large area for walking. We offer stay in the Staff room.
  For work days we offer food for 3 meals a day. For rest days we offer 2 meals (breakfast and dinner). In this place you can have an exchange with nature and knowledge of the ecosystem but mainly a different space to disconnect from the city, also you can interact with some people of the region and practice your spanish as they didnt speak anothe lenguages.
  
  
  Tendrás la posibilidad de conocer y relacionarte con la cultura colombiana y la región montañosa . Nuestro hostal tiene un río y una amplia zona para caminar . Ofrecemos estadía en el cuarto de Staff.
  Para los días de trabajo ofrecemos mercado para preparar 3 comidas al día. Para los días de descanso ofrecemos alimentos para desayuno y cena . en este lugar podrás tener un intercambio con la naturaleza y conocimiento del ecosistema pero principalmente un espacio diferente para desconectarte de la ciudad.

  Arbeit

  We ask for help in our house maintenance such as painting walls or murals, in gardening projects, construction and repair or making furniture and also cooking food for those of us who work in the house, taking care the pets and train the dogs , make beds when we have guests, help with social media , web page , making routes of trekking etc
  
  solicitamos ayuda en mantenimiento de la casa como pintura de paredes o murales , en proyectos de jardinería, construcción y reparación de mobiliario y también cocinando alimentos para quienes trabajemos en la casa , cuidado de las mascotas , entrenamiento de los perros , ayuda con las vacas y el ordeño , crear rutas de trekking , hacer las camas del hostal, ayuda con redes sociales , pagina web , compost etc. tenemos mucho trabajo y varias cosas para hacer , usualmente elegimos a nuestros voluntarios de acuerdo a la necesitad que tengamos en ese momento y con las habilidades que ellos tengan . pero si queremos a alguien que le gusten los perros y nos ayuden a darles cariño , peinarlos y estar con ellos cuando no tenemos muchas tareas que desarrollar .

  Unterkunft

  They will be located in a staff room that has single beds, blankets and pillows, the house is equipped with a kitchen and refrigerator, the bathroom is shared and has an electric shower.
  The idea of the volunteer is that everyone in a group can rotate and share as a group in the different projects, the preparation of food and cleaning the house will be participatory and joint.
  if we only have two volunteers and an empty house they will prepare their own food .
  
  Estarán ubicados en una habitación para staff que cuenta con camas sencillas , cobijas y almohadas , la casa esta dotada con una cocina y nevera , el baño es compartido y tiene ducha eléctrica .
  la idea del voluntario es que todos en grupo puedan rotar y compartir como grupo en los diferentes proyectos , será de forma participativa y conjunta la preparación de alimentos y limpieza de la casa ., si solo tenemos dos voluntarios y la casa sola ellos deberan preparar sus alimentos .

  This place is ideal for meditation, bird watching, immersion in nature and farm life in the mountains, there is only one bus a day to return to the city, and the nearest "town" is a 30to 50-minutes walk away, but you can Visit the river, go fishing, learn to milk cows and take long walks. There is a store nearby but it is not always open, it is a remote area but this is what makes it special.
  
  Este lugar es ideal para la meditación, avistamiento de aves , inmersión en la naturaleza y la vida de granja en la montaña, solo hay un bus al dia para regresar a la ciudad , y el pueblo mas cercano es a 30 minutos caminando , pero pueden visitar el rio , ir a pescar , pueden aprender a ordeñar las vacas y realizar largas caminatas . hay una tienda cercana pero no siempre esta abierta , es un sector alejado pero es esto mismo lo que lo hace especial.

  Tenemos un parqueadero amplio en la casa adjunta de la finca , tenemos una parte cubierta que estará disponible dependiendo de los carros que estén en la finca . we have a big parking place in other house next to our farm , it will share the place with the other cars of the family.

  Aceptamos mascotas que sepan tener convivencia con otros animales ya que en nuestro espacio hay varios animales .no siempre podremos aceptarlos . we only accept pets who can share spaces with another species because we have cows , chickens cats etc... not always we can said yes but we are open .

  Keith es nuestro " burrito" , es un burro muy lindo , perdió un ojo y le gusta que lo llamen desde lejos , le gusta la zanahoria y la panela .... tambien necesita compañia algo de comida y alguien que revise que no se ha escapado .

  COCO Y LOLA

  son 2 gatas hermanas . lola nunca se deja atrapar pero como en cambio se puede ir a dormir contigo .
  ellas solo necesitan que las alimentes .

  Toña

  Toña es la abuelita del clan , una pastor aleman de 10 años , parece mas un zorrito y ama el agua es por eso que necesita ser peinada de forma constante ya que su pelo se enreda mucho.
  ella es muy cariñosa tambien y muy noble pero no con desconocidos.

  Nico

  Nico es el Alfa de los perros , tiene 5 años , es un pastor Aleman muy mal educado, necesita mucho cariño y para llamar la atención muerde las manos , El ama que le den atención y cariño.

  

  Tiburón (11 Monaten)

  Tiburón es el mas pequeño de nuestros perrhijos , es un loquito también muy amoroso pero mas desconfiado, muy juguetón, con problemas de atención pero muy inteligente listo para que le enseñes comandos (en español )

  

  Simon (3 Jahren)

  Simón , nuestro perrhijo mayor , actualmente tiene 3 años , un Pastor Aleman muy noble y amoroso con sus dueños ... si te acercas a el para darle amor tendrás un amigo para siempre .
