We enjoy meeting new people from all countries and are widely travelled ourselves.We are friendly,outgoing ,very active and willing to help people to enjoy themselves whilst working.
We run a small B+B for walkers usually along the Offa's Dyke Path between Wales and England which is our driveway!!
We enjoy badminton,guitar playing,tennis,entertaining,all types of music,cinema and food.We are non smokers.

We have a large garden ,mainly grass, but would like a small veg .patch. The flowerbeds need maintaining as well.
A little housework would be welcome as well as a little cooking,particularly if paying guests are staying.
I would love to learn Spanish or Italian.
Some painting[small areas] or tidying up in the house would be welcome

We have 4 bedrooms,2 of which have their own bathroom --One with twin beds and the other with a double bed.the 2 other rooms have a private bathroom and 4 poster beds.
Our house is very comfortable,with an aga in the kitchen, a large ding room and 2 sitting rooms.You can even have your own sitting room if you want.

From the moment that we arrived, we were made to feel like part of the family! Joan and Christian have been great hosts - generous and amiable. We've spent many a happy night improving our skills in scrabble and even learning to play bridge (well..the basics of it at least).

Ariel and Mike were a delight to host. They worked hard and fitted into our daily life very well, being both friendly and easy going. We would recommend them to any hosts
We didn't know what to expect showing up in Oswestry without a car but we had such a good time with the help of our fantastic hosts! They picked us up from the train station and welcomed us to their home with open arms.

Glanyrafon is a beautiful, comfortable house in a lovely area. Coming from the extremely hot, dry summer of Madrid, I really appreciated being surrounded by such green countryside and enjoyed having milder weather. The problem is that it’s isolated (a one hour walk away from the nearest village) and there is no signal in the valley where the more

I spent twelve days at here last May. It was a pleasure to live and work with Joan and Christian. I felt a member of their family. I met their family, their friends and neighbours. I worked in their beautiful garden and house.
Joan often took me around Shropshire and Wales talking to me a lot so my English has improved.

Franca was a very conscientious workawayer who was willing to put her hand to any of the tasks required. Her English was satisfactory on arrival but I think improved during her stay. She cooked a very nice Italian meal for us
I am really grateful to Joan and Christian for the great experience I have lived during my stay with them. All the words I have for them are good: Joan is very active, easy going, open minded, talkative... she looked after me everytime and she introduced me all her relations which by the way were very attentive with me. I appreciate all the effort more
Ander was the first single male workawayer we had received and he really made an excellent impression. He was very conscientious, reliable, hardworking ,interesting and fun. He had a good sense of humour but could be serious when the occasion called for it. I would recommend him to any host ...he would be a real asset!!
This host was just brilliant. When I arrived I immediatly felt very comfortable. Joan is very very friendly, attentive, chatty (very good for your English!) and she is very young at heart. She is incredible sociable and I really liked beeing with her. Christian just arrived in the evenings in which I found him very amiable and pleasant.
