On a clifftop overlooking the beach, North Cliff , Varkala.
Our customers are mostly westerners; we've classic tunes, a small menu, Smoothies, yogurt,, crepes, juices, and excellent coffees.You'll be working alongside our local staff, sharing cultures and recipes!over the last 7 years our restaurant has grown in size and reputation. We open at dawn and we close at sunset.although next season we may run evening films with snacks.
We provide your breakfast and lunch,and as much coffee as u can keep down! and e, vening meal usually fish curry, or you can choose to dine, like me at one of the 3 dozen restaurants on the cliff.
Varkala is a special place, Big on yoga/ayurveda .
check us on trip advisor or facebook . We re closed now, and relocating to a larger site along the cliff, close to the helipad.So during July mainly, we could do with some helpers with building skills, artists,signwriters, visionaries to re vamp the coffee temple.

next season we' re looking for volunteers from November, who'll stay for a minimum one month. 3-6 months is possible

The deal is that you get breakfast , lunch and dinner! as much of our delicious coffee as you can drink. the odd juice.

these guys got us cleaned up and organised, working above and beyond their hours, im so sad to see them go,, honest and decent, a joy to have around. if you take them on youre in for a treat!

What a cute little cafe right on the beach cliff. I worked here for 3 weeks and had a great time. The other volunteers were great and there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The coffee was EXCELLENT and I had several espressos throughout the day. Les is a character and it was great to get to know him and his dedicated staff, Binu and more
Working at the coffee temple in Varkala was a great experience! A beautiful place to wake up early and start brewing fresh coffee while watching the morning sun and the wild ocean right in front of you. and watching the big sun go down every night while closing down. We enjoyed working with very good people, had a lot of fun just almost living at more
michele stayed with coffee temple for a couple of weeks before i got there, and im told she was delightful, working well through a difficult time.
Erika stayed with us for a week or two as a waitress, then went north
