We live in Malaga province, just north of Antequera which is a stunning location and within easy reach of all the main Andalucian cities. Myself and my husband run an adventure sports company, as well as my husband having a building company and doing cultural tours. I make kids novelty cakes as well as teach English, so you must be child friendly as you often get roped in to helping with the classes. Life is always hectic as we have a 6yr old boy, dogs everywhere and 2 cats!!! Normally, you will have your own room and a shared bathroom and food in included. How you could help us?, well anything goes from building, child care, dealing with customers, you name it I am sure we have it!! We have a large house or if a little more privacy was required, when not in use a caravan.

We are a single parental family, me (a man) in my early forties and my daughters (Lassa is 8 years, Nayele is 7 years). I work, I study, my daughters usually do some activities after school: ice skating, painting, judo, swimming, theater, to learn portuguese. Their school is in French as main language with Catalan as second language. The girls can speak Spanish, some Catalan and some French, somewhat in Portuguese one of them. It would be interesting to teach them some English. I also can speak English, French and Portuguese.

Hello everybody;-) We are starting with de renovation of the 150 years old watermill to a centre for personal development, installing solar/heating panels, vegetable garden, and more. All as ecologically as possible. Both long and short stays are possible We are an enthusiastic open-minded living community, who like to bring people together in a green, calm and inspiring environment. You are more then welcome at our Ecological Centre for personal development and conscience . In the summer season, July and August, we give Yoga and Art Courses. The rest of the year this idyllic place is open for everyone who wants to participate in the project. All meals are vegetarian and of course free. All Yoga and meditation classes are of course also free. On average we are with about eight to fourteen volunteers. Do not forget that working on the buildings is not more than moving a pile of stone from one place to an other. What's really important is YOU who's doing it. Dear workawayers! We are now planning our 2013 season and accepting applications. We will enumerate below what are the different projects for this spring, summer and fall. Hope to hear from you :) First of all, we are a small Buddhist community of 3 persons living self-sufficiency in the forest of Lanaudiere, Quebec, on a land of 20 acres. Our place is easily reached with a daily bus from Montreal. We are cultivating approximately 5 acres with heritage and hardy fruit trees (Apple (over 200 varieties), pear, plum, cherries, apricot, strawberry, raspberry, haskap, blueberry, kiwis, etc) and with vegetables. The other 15 acres is forest. We live in a log house, the other buildings are made of recycled materials. The workawayer will liv in his own apartment with a bathroom and a small kitchen for his breakfast and dinner. We have hundreds of projects, but only we are 3 to make them come true! We are eager to meet people from all over the world and to share our knowledge and experience! After having host workawayers for over 2 years, we find it useful to specicy more clearly what we expect from workawayers. The aim of our place is to live self-sufficiently, and this indeed needs a lot of work. When you want to build and grow everything (or as much as you are able to), you have to literally sweat for it! This is the life we have chosen and are happy with it. We actually love to be active all the time and we never count how many hours we work a day, we just do what has to be done and we love it :) This being said, except our workawayers to be interested in self-sufficiency, simply out of curiosity or because they wish to take on this lifestyle in the future. We are looking for a volunteer who would like to get immersed in our lifestyle; someone who would think : "I will take one month (or more) and experience what is it to live on a land to be self-sufficient.” We make the effort of providing wide variety of tasks that are not too repetitive, so that each volunteer will experience many different fields (from constructions to gardening, from welding to mechanic, from beekeeping to hens caring, from fruit trees to cooking, from woodworking to canning, from processing food to plumbing.) Therefore it is important for us to have volunteers who give the best of themselves and do not count their hours of work. The more you give, the more you receive!

Stop Press: We have some spaces between now and May 11th. We need people from now until end of September 2013 minimum 2 weeks. We are an English couple who have lived in Spain for over 20 years. We are in our late 40's. Our business is on-line so we can work anywhere as long as we have an internet connexion. We spend our time between Granada, the coast and our cortijo in the mountains. We are mainly interested in some help up in the mountain house. We have 30 000 m2 with about 100 olive trees, 100 almonds almost all the fruit trees you can think of, a vegetable plot, about 5 springs, solar powered electricity, solar water heating. 10 X 5m swimming pool. It is 1200 metres high, The nearest village is 5km up a non asphalt road. We have no children.
