Hi! We are Alain and Rémi. We own a beautiful 1932 log home on a mountaintop near the touristic village of Montebello, Quebec. The home was built by the same architects and craftsmen who constructed Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello, the largest log building in the world. We are also blessed with an amazing view over Quebec and Eastern Ontario. The village is located between Montreal and Ottawa, and is only 50 minutes to Mont-Tremblant. There are also daily buses traveling to Ottawa and Montreal. The Omega Park (a safari-like zoo of Canadian wildlife) is only a few minutes drive from our place. And at walking distance from our property, you'll find the Papineau Manor, a National Historic Site (near the Chateau Montebello), where lived one of the last Lords (Seigneur) of New France. We have 4 purebred Siberian huskies, who sleep in their private cabin and play in their gated playground. We are easy going, enjoy nature and like meeting people from around the world.

Region: Andalucia

I am an artist, living on her own, surrounded by olive groves overlooking the embalse of Iznajar, the longest lake in Andalucia. I live 3 km from the village with magical views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

Region: Wakiso

An independent, indigenous, interdenominational and non-governmental organisation with the focus on restoring dignity to vulnerable children by parenting them and providing medical care and education. Alongside our orphanage, the center also cares for poor children throughout the community and supports them with scholastic material and nourishment. Our orphanage offers a safe environment, a roof over the head and true care for the children, which gives them the opportunity to recover from their mostly tragic past and of being a child finally. We are ensuring the free mental development of them by counseling, guidance and spending much time with an open ear.

Region: Rhone Alps

We are a French-American couple with 4 kids (two grown daughters and two boys who live at home ages 13 and 4 1/2), 2 dogs a cat and some horses. On our renovated farm, we run a small bed and breakfast and serve dinner to guests every night. We are also in the process of raising and training horses for riding and competition. At 1350 m altitude, when the workday is done, we go outside, take a deep breath of clean mountain air and gaze endlessly at the stars which illuminate the Ardeche sky.
