We are a young couple who have bought a near derelict farm high up in the Sierra Grande of Martos, in Jaén province of Andalusia.
While we are busy working away to raise the funds to reform our house to its original glory, we are seriously lacking of time to take care of our land. With alernate rain and sunshine, weeds are growing quickly and nature is having its own way. We are looking for serious nature lover who would like to volunteer helping us taming nature and replanting trees. At 15 km from the first village, the volunteering work will pretty much be staying onsite and use your free time to paint, read or go for long walks in the country side. Any volunteers with building experience welcome too!!

We will be happy for anyone to dedicate up to 5 hours a day helping around cleaning the land, weeding, planting or helping on the houses for plastering, rendering, roofing..
Accomodation and 3 meals a day offered

Summer & Winter Jobs: Tiling, plastering, painting, plumbing, shaded area building.
ANYONE WHO CAN TRAIN MY SMALLEST DOG TO USE THE DOG FLAP WELCOME :-)

We have 3 lovely dogs and are surrounded by neighbours cats. It is not uncommon to see bores or rabbits on the land as well as a large variety of birds and butterflies.
We can organise wine tasting, organic olive tours, provide you with cycling routes, dedicated walks..Help you with city trips to neighbouring Jaén, Cordoba, Granada etc..Just feel free to ask for more info!!

Chilled out couple with three chilled out dogs. Great company. Great food. Great accommodation.
You can't fault Giles. Hard working kind of guy able to handle various jobs from helping hosting a busy art exhibition to clearing rubbles and picking walls.

It was a delight to have Mister D. at our place, even though for only a few days. Hard worker, great sense of humour, real story teller, he is missed here. From digging a trench to moving rocks to putting a fire out, he is part of the family within minutes of his arrival.

This was my first work away experience, so I was very uncertain as to what to expect. My first night there I was made to feel like I was at home. Stunning farm and very rich in its surrounding beauty. Frand Jerome are wonderful, warm loving people that only want you to enjoy your time with them. We stayed 3 weeks at their place and it was just wonderful! Beautiful people, great food, excellent wines and beers, the dogs are absolutely adorable! Just a good and chilled out place to be! Thank you guys again for your generous hospitality. We'll be back and we can't wait until the time you can come and workaway at our place! XXX
Having Bauke and Elske is a true human experience in itself. Dynamic, helpful, hopeful, great humour, brillant cooks, motivated, always on the go, trustworthy, smart...not enough superlatives to describe this incredible couple. We are missing them greatly and so do our dogs..
