  If you like the mountains, wild nature, the magic of the forest, active life and tranquility, you will certainly feel at ease with us.
  
  We are in a sparsely inhabited alpine area, surrounded by woods, lakes, streams and wild animals. Many areas have been preserved in their natural state; tourism is not yet mass tourism. It is a magical place, steeped in legends.
  
  We are interested in cultural exchanges and sharing experiences. Unfortunately we do not have a good knowledge of foreign languages. But we can definitely improve your Italian.
  
  We have limited funds, so we are looking for volunteers.
  
  We prefer those looking for a stay starting from 2 weeks.
  
  The place is recommended:

  - to those who are passing through (we don't host for a few days)
  
  The environment you will find yourself in is typically familiar. We are all adults.
  The house is at the center of a small universe. It therefore happens that you share meals with friends and acquaintances. Other times the house empties and everything becomes intimate and incredibly silent.
  
  So if you're looking for chaos and city life you won't find it here.

  We can offer sympathy, companionship and experiences. Above all, you will have the opportunity to observe the original management of the forest, which allows its use even at night thanks to careful implementation of lights.
  
  Daniele is an attentive connoisseur of the history and natural places of the area. He will be happy to accompany you to discover the natural and artistic beauties of the area.

  Arbeit

  GARDEN
  
  The main help requested concerns the maintenance of our park. This is outdoor work but not particularly tiring. Volunteers will contribute to the development of the flower garden, as well as take care of the general maintenance (paths, mowing, watering, ...).
  
  * it is important that volunteers bring their own trekking shoes
  
  PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO, ARTS AND SMALL CREATIONS
  
  We never had time to take any nice photos or videos. These skills are therefore welcome. Those who are good at illustrated arts and music are also welcome.
  
  HOME
  
  We usually don't ask for help with cleaning, but it can happen. We like to cook and eat together. So, for lunch and dinner we get together to prepare food and set the table. Sometimes you will have to cook too :-)

  We are available to teach the Italian language. However, we prefer people who have at least a basis in Italian.

  Unterkunft

  We offer a single room with private bathroom and shower.
  Sheets, pillowcases, blankets, pillows, towels and all the essentials for sleeping will be provided. Instead, you will need to bring with you: slippers and personal hygiene products.
  
  We provide any meals we would like to prepare and eat together. The cuisine is typical Friulian cuisine: cereals, soups, vegetables, meat, cheeses, sausages. If you are vegetarian we try to accommodate your needs.
  
  Cigarettes are not allowed in the house, and great care must be taken in the park to avoid fires.
  
  Pets are not allowed (we have a very territorial cat).
  
  Musical instruments are welcome :-)

  Was noch ...

  On the day of arrival we meet at the Udine (or Carnia) train station. Then you reach the house by car.
  
  The house is immersed in the forest. The nearest village is 2.5 km away.
  
  Some interesting hiking trails pass by the house. Clearly our characteristic is that of having a nature that is still wild and full of wild animals close at hand.
  
  Without your own means of transport, it is not easy to move around the nearby towns. However, once or twice a week we ourselves accompany the guests to visit the natural and artistic beauties of the region according to the preferences of the guests themselves.
