I am associated with a school which is situated in a place known as Kolar (rural India), which is about 60 kms from Bangalore, India. I whole heartedly welcome your volunteers to have the program related to "english speaking and one world" for our school children. The Trust is currently running a PU College, Degree College, PG College at Bangalore and Gupta’s International School at Kolar (which is 60 kilometers from Bangalore). ABOUT GUPTA’S INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Education in recent years has become stress creating phenomena for students, parents and school. Gupta’s International School (GIS) is situated at Kolar which is 60 kilometers from Bangalore. At GIS we plan to create a system where education is made interesting to remove stress. We accept members of Workaway.info, all year round. There are olive groves, orchard, vegetable gardens, flower gardens, dams, dog, donkeys, and poultry. Work includes all aspects of property management, olive groves, and our B&B. Our place has four guest bedrooms (2 doubles and 2 twins), so we can accommodate up to eight, but we normally prefer to only take one or two WorkAwayers at a time unless our current projects require more. We also normally prefer those who have done Volunteering or WorkAway before, as we have found that they appreciate what we have to offer and look after things with greater care. We're two adults and two young kids living in Melbourne's inner north. We're up for meeting people from other places and are looking for occasional help with our garden and general household stuff. James is a hydrologist and often working pretty long days, and Nina is a botanist and aspiring ceramicist but right now a full-time mum. We have an enthusiastic and talkative 4 year old girl and our 20 month old son is a typical toddler - learning about the world and getting into any hazards he can find. We have a well-used back-yard in which we try to grow some of our own veggies and create a fun space for the kids to play and learn. We try to live a well-informed and environmentally aware life here in this urban environment and enjoy having a strong community of like-minded households in our neighbourhood. We're very close to a great tramline that will take you down Brunswick St, Fitzroy, and into the city. Our small very local shopping strip (less than 500m away) also has quite a bit to offer - a great cafe, yoga studio, bike shop, locally made gift-wares, hairdresser. And there is a great linear park along a creek about 10 minutes walk away.

SORRY WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY HELPERS FOR 2013 AT THE MOMENT. We have a family smallholding and run a wholefood cafe/bistro and a fish & chips shop. our farm is producing different vegetables and fruits, we have cows-sheep-goats-chickens-geese, a few ducks and go fishing to supply the family and cafe with fresh food. we also have an eco cabin for tourists.

We are a Franco-New Zealand-British family living in scenic Brittany. We have 4 children - a 6year old little boy and 3 big ones who are away studying but are often here during weekends and holidays. We are close to the historic towns of St Malo and Dinan and only 40mins from the spectacular Mont St Michel. As we have lived in the area for many years and have children at school we are very much part of the local community. We have our own local beach (and resident seal) only 800metres away and are close to many other great beaches as well. Two years ago we moved into our large old home, known as a 'maison de maitre' which we are busily restoring. We are also creating appartments in the 300 year old barn. Our aim is to restore the buildings in an ecologically-sound manner. We are looking for enthusiastic people who are keen to help us in our restoration project in return for experiencing a little bit of French life. Marc and the children are the French ones so their accents are better than Kate's but we can all help if you want to improve your French. We live within a short walk of the local village with it's boulangerie, creperie, cafes and bars and cider factory. As in most of Brittany, the area is steeped in history and traditions and we can share our knowledge of the area, its customs, cuisine and music. We are a couple who have both travelled widely and lived in several other countries. We love meeting people from elsewhere and delight in sharing our knowledge and experience of life here in France. We love the workaway concept and our experience with workaway over the last 18 months has been fantastic - we have met many wonderful and interesting people and have made life-long friends.
