Rural Cambodians have endured some terrible hardships. The Pol Pot genocide eliminated almost all of the professionals and educators in the nation, and Cambodians suffered during the subsequent two-decade long war and persistent political unrest. The most significant contributor to poverty in Cambodia is the lack of functioning educational facilities and economic opportunities caused by the obliteration of the most basic institutions and facilities necessary to sustain a community.

Our project strives to create a bright and better future for under-privileged Cambodian children. A registered non-profit organization founded in August 2010 by Mr. Jason after his long career working with various projects, and local and international organizations in Cambodia. Mr. Jason founded the agency with a group of volunteers from other local and international organizations. The Agency was given approval by the Royal Government of Cambodia to organize and facilitate activities in line with its mission, vision and goals.

Our mission strives to break the cycle of poverty by empowering women, children and the community through access to education and subsequent sustainable employment opportunities. The Agency strives to create a bright and better future for these disadvantaged people. The project does this by teaching English to the underprivileged children of the community.

As a volunteer teaching English in Cambodia, you will encourage students (8-19 years old) to develop a skill that will help them achieve their future goals. Conversing with fluent, native English speakers greatly improves their language skills, essential for future employment. This project, therefore, provides the perfect opportunity for a volunteer teaching English in Cambodia to put their leadership skills into practice and make a profound impact in a teaching position.

The project also runs a childcare program, As a childcare volunteer in Cambodia, you will educate and work with children between the ages of 4-7 years at a time before they begin formal schooling. International volunteers with children in Cambodia help to brighten up the lives of young children in Takeo Province. As a childcare volunteer in Cambodia organise educational activities and games that will positively promote stimulation and productiveness in young ones.

Our vision is to help under-privileged Cambodian children reach their full potential and to create sustainable living conditions by providing education, nourishment, a stable home environment, healthcare and training skills.

Our agency aims to break the vicious cycle of poverty and exploitation at the crucial root of the problem, which is a lack of education and resources for the most vulnerable people. The Center will free children from having to work dangerous, arduous jobs and will provide them with a safe and comfortable environment in which they will be fed, clothed, given access to healthcare, and provided with kindergarten, primary, high school, non-formal education and vocational training skills (i.e., training as accountants, teachers, seamstresses, agricultural workers, mechanics, etc). Children will also receive training in health, nutrition and basic morals and values (such as respect for oneself and others, cooperation, discipline, etc.). Once they complete school, the children will be assisted (technically and financially) in securing sustainable jobs or in furthering their education.

We have formed a strong and respectful relationship with villagers and authorities at all levels in the communities it has been assisting for the past year, providing an open forum for raising awareness on delicate matters such as HIV/AIDS. Our agency will additionally conduct regular Human Rights workshops in which it will encourage the families of the children, and community members to join in learning about the value of education, alternatives to child labor, the importance of non-violence, and community solidarity and development. Education campaigns are being/will be integrated with the workshops that will target both men and women in the communities.

We are committed to protecting the under-privileged Cambodian children by providing the basic human rights of education, a stable environment, healthcare and training skills. Our agency therefore seeks to improve the social-economic status of disadvantaged rural communities in Cambodia through integrative social-economic rehabilitation programs and the creation of educational and employment opportunities, in order to build a strong community for a better sustainable future.

Our agency empowers its children to become self-reliant members of the community who can participate in community meetings and assist in community development. Ultimately, Our agency is setting a precedent concerning the value of education in the community by serving as a model of the direct relationship between increasing education and decreasing child labor and abuse, increasing quality of living, and sustainable employment opportunities. We intend to expand to accommodate all of the children in need of its services in Cambodia
