I am a dutchman and I have been living in Sardinia for over 10 years on a small olive farm. The olive farm is situated in a beautiful cultivated valley surrounded by mountains, close to the centre eastcoast. And 6km out of town. I'm a tourist and hiking guide on Sardinia and in the tourist season (mai - october) I have little time for the farm, so help is welcome. Also in the olive - picking -season (november) and throughout the whole winter there are plenty of things to do around the house and terrain so help is welcome. Besides picking olives we try to cultivate a vegetable garden, we have a lot of different fruit trees like figs and peaches that we use for making jam. One of the projects i need some help with is the startup of growing aromatic herbs, like rosemary. November to april is a beautiful time of year here as days are crisp in the morning and can warm up to between 12 and 18 around lunchtime, the views in this time of year are crystal clear. In winter there is always enough to do outside, so no lack of fresh air.

We are an easy-going married couple Renata (40) and Bango (52) living in Stobrec near Split. Bango works and I am unemployed at the moment. We've been married for 16 years and lived in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Holland for a while. Our house is 10 min walk from the beach. The climate is very nice with lots of "spring" days during winter. The area is ideal for windsurfing, hiking, running, swimming, diving etc. We are hikers and spend most weekends hiking (but not in summer it's too hot). We host couch surfers and have had wonderful experience meeting people from different countries. Split is a 1700 year old city that offers all in one - beautiful nature, night life, museums, entertainment and outdoor and indoor activities. With mountains in the north, islands in the south, coastal villages close to Split there's plenty to see and do during your stay here.

We are a down to earth English couple renovating a small medieval moated castle. Our organic Veggie garden is now in its 4th year, we now have a poly tunnel to help improve results and achieve self sustainability. we share our home with Millie, Gizmo and Scruffy our 3 cats, we have 4 ducks, Donni, Julie, Eric and Jed but they have their own house on the island and spend most of their time in the moat :) We also have 3 chickens and a cockerel. We provide meals and accommodation in return for 28hrs per week. Accommodation: We have 4 caravans, so everyone has their own space, all caravans have electricity and we have on-site WiFi, we also have space for camping, you have use of all facilities in the castle, we also have a 4mtr swimming pool and several bikes available. With up to 10 people here at any one time we are NOT able to cater for vegetarians, sorry. We are located in a small village, there is a bar and small shop within walking distance, a small lake, some great walks and several castles within easy cycling distance (5km for example) Within 10km: Large outdoor swimming pool, Beautiful lake with restaurant and boat hire, canoeing on the river, large water park, a large town with all shops and facilities. In our region Deux-Sevres (two rivers) there is a regional bus service that is €1.50 to each town or city, you can visit the department capital Niort for just €1.50, the Medieval town of Parthenay is just €1.50 away and many more for those interested in discovering the local area. On Sundays we like to visit local Vide-Greniers in search of a bargain or old relic for the castle, you are welcome to come along. You can come for anything from two week to several months. (The minimum stay is 2 weeks, one week is just not enough to get settled and in to the routine etc) Rachael gives free French lessons for anyone interested in learning the language. For people staying longer term we offer free business lessons for anyone interested in starting an automated on-line business, or if you already have a website or business we can help you improve your search engine positions and internet marketing. Types of work available include: Gardening, garden clearing. All types of building and renovation work, joinery, stone work, plumbing, plastering, painting general labourers etc Cleaning, cooking, sewing, and general maintenance. UPDATE: We are looking for someone able to make basic window frames. Also someone able to service garden equipment, mower, strimmers etc Or if you have a skill or experience that you feel may help then email us with details. Artist: We had an artist offer do a painting of the castle in oil paints but had to cancel at the last minute due to family problems, anyone interested in this also would be welcome. Welcome in Arles, sunny and beautifull Provence! We are 2 guys ,Eric & Augusto (French & Honduras gay couple) building our futur B&B and house, a house with heart in Arles city center. We're opening l'Aubergine Rouge V2.0 in april 28th: -2 helpers ( Vincent & Ignacio) more Eric & Augusto are at home at the moment , one or two more people are welcome right now, a woman would be welcome in the team! -We are looking for a specialist in wooden restoration(catering) and a decorator of inside with sewing capacity -We are looking for somebody cooking and helping cleaning the house from now to april 28th -WE NEED A JOINER/carpenter, a locksmith or HANDYMAN who is good with wood and general finish work at any time. -We look for the double of Van gogh at any time -We look for a needlewoman for curtains We 're offering accomodation and a private room with private bathroom for one or two personn. We are working at the moment in order to open soon and new blood and energy would be welcome! We're expecting 5 hours/day work with a total of 25 hours/week!Schedule is from 8h to 13h or from 14h to 19h and can be adaptable to your own wishes.During your free time you can use our bicycle /Tandem or even our car and go on excursion with other helpers and us or by yourself. We share with you lunch and diner time and provide food and beverage without any restriction. BREAK AWAY Arles is a nice city in south France, full of history and culture, capitale of photographie ( national school and festivals).We're leaving in "la roquette" a very nice place close to the river Rhône in city center.We're good cook but are not vegetarian, eat everything trying to buy good products and we drink wine.
