Bruce and Jenny (a retired engineer and an English language teacher) have travelled extensively during their lives and 20 years ago decided to retire to South West France. It has taken all this time to restore a 200 year old ‘Maison de Maitre’ which is now a comfortable 'Bed and Breakfast'. The house is situated in a tiny medieval, once fortified or ‘Bastide’, village facing South with a stunning view of the Pyrenees. The accommodation we would offer is a comfortable, well furnished, twin or double room with it’s own bathroom/shower. There is WiFi and TV. We are non smokers. Our place is in a medieval village of just 6 houses surrounded by farms and rolling countryside .The population of our commune is 150. We are in ‘La France Profonde’, Marciac (1200 inhabitants), our nearest village is 6 kms away and offers the shops and everyday facilities that you would require, including a cinema and a theatre. The Pyrénées are 1hr30 from here, with Biarritz and the Atlantic coast 2hrs. Toulouse is 1hr50, the Mediterranean coast 3hrs30 away. We have two bicycles you are welcome to borrow and we are happy to drop you off at a bus stop about 15 mins away which connects with the train station in Tarbes, some 45 minutes. We are looking for help from early April to mid July. The winter and early spring is really too early for any work outside in the garden or on the house. From the end of July and through August, we are very booked up and busy and cannot accept any workawayers. The latter part of September is possible. We really enjoy meeting 'Workaways' and can suggest walks/hikes from the door. We have a small swimming pool and there are yoga sessions in Marciac plus golf, and tennis 6 kms away. There are also opportunities to meet up with other workaways in the area.

Small, medieval town with narrow streets only 1 km. away (5 minutes walk). Regular train and bus service to Galway City (20 minutes). Sandy Blue Flag beach only 20 minutes away. Hi, We are currently looking for an energetic couple preferably above the age of 25 to help us out for 10 to 15 days the following dates : From today 4th of june to 28th of june : either a man & women or 2 women. From 28 of june to 13th of july for 1 or 2 women. Work would consist of : Gardening, clearing weeds, watering, re-potting, cutting hedges & making bundles. Cleaning and tidying the attick (lots of dust!). Washing down furniture and painting things. Washing & painting walls. General house cleaning and a small amount of cooking. We live about 20 minutes walk from the town center and have a guest room that looks out onto the garden plus a small separate bathroom on the ground floor so you have your own space, it's a non smoking household, and you can use the garden if you need to smoke. Married with 2 boys, one 20 & one 13 year old we are looking for a little help around the house and shop. We both Kitesurf as often as possible, with other water activities when we can. Non smokers Noosa is home to kitesurfing in Australia as one of the first places to introduce the sport. Noosa has perfect weather through most of the year, with tropical temperatures and warm water. Surrounded by national parks, Noosa is a top tourist destination for many overseas visitors.

We are a family of three kids, two German Shepards, and three cats. My hubby is originally from Wales, while I am from Canada. My children range in age from 17 to 4. Michael is an IT expert with a passion for music. We have a fully operational music studio which is used for Michael's spare time. My oldest daughter is a singer and is as well still attending her second to last year of school. The two youngest are 7 and 4 and generally get up to everything they possibley can!!! Me, I am the facilitator, with the chance to escape once every couple of weeks to let my hair down! We live in a very typical Mallorcean Village with lot's of bars and restaurants near by. There is a bus stop about a block and a half from our house that will take you to the train station in turn to Palma the main city on the island. So you will never feel stranded. We have had visitors from Canada backpacking who have found it very easy to commute from here and enjoyed their time immensely, we have had our first workaway experience now with the most amazing Canadian couple that laughed at us constantly!!!! I look forward to hosting and meeting more people from around the world and introducing them to my slightly zany and wacky family!!!!
