Originally from Melbourne i moved to the King Valley in 2007 to begin building a farm from a stump riddled harvested pine plantation.
With almost all the stumps now removed and nine kilometres of fencing dividing the property into sections i am able to run an assortment of animals including 70 goats , 15 Wessex saddleback pigs , two alpaca's and twenty Damara sheep , Dexter cattle, 17 holstien calves and
American Bison
Gardening is a passion of ours so we try and grow as much as we can or harvest from the wild many types of fruit as they become available in the local area .
There is plenty to do and see in this high rainfall , hilly wine growing region with rivers , snow , markets and a great social community holding regular get togethers.

Work depends on the weather, however the animals come first, followed by farm maintenance and new projects including building with natural materials rock walls , mud bricks and timber structures, fencing , planting trees and edible plants.
