I am what some may term a "Trendy Nanna" - some people refer to me as "Nifty Nanna" - anyway I am a Nanna to many - both blood and "adopted" - I am now retired and live in my own home which is far to big for me alone so I have opened it up for share accommodation - mostly for students from all over the world - I have many "new children" and have been lucky enough to visit some of them in their homelands and even to attend a couple of their weddings - I have eight of my own children and many grandchildren - both blood and adopted and they are scattered world wide - I am now on nocturnal dialysis and have been trained so that I can carry out the procedure myself at home which I do 5 nights a week. I am an habitual magpie which seriously needed attending to and I absolutely love gardening. I am a born again Christian and attend http://www.planetshakers.com/ check them out ..- hope this gives you a bit of an insight into who I am - oh I almost forgot the most important members of the family who live with me - two cats - a very cheeky but loveable three year old female called Cookie Monster and the old man and boss of all, 13 year old Nemko - who loves to snuggle up and just sleep the days away.

We live in a small village and we have six rooms to rent to our guests.We are giving our rooms as bed and breakfast. If the guest would like to have dinner we are serving it also. Also we are renting one of our house as self catering if requested. Our place is 700 meters above sea level. Our place lies in a cool valley under the ancient Lycian site -Cadianda- and is surrounded by thick pine forests fed by mountain streams tumbling down the rugged hillsides. This is an ideal location for someone who wants the enchantment of rural life but also the opportunity to visit the pretty harbour town of Fethiye and Calis Beach, just 20 minutes drive away; with Oludeniz and Dalaman airport also within easy reach. Access to the main resorts is easy, by car, dolmus or taxi. Journey time to/from Fethiye is approx. 20 minutes by car in addition to a regular bus service. Our place is almost 4km away from the village, we can provide a bike to reach the village. Otherwise it needs about 40 minutes walk.We live in the forest, where there is no bars or shops, so please beware of this, if you are a city person.

Mother and daughter run a small holding in the west of Ireland. We're just expanding and need help with getting things going. Have goats, sheep, pigs, a cow, horses and lots of poultry. Plus many other animals! Also love growing our own veg and redoing our gardens.

Happy 2013! I own a small backpackers hostel overlooking the beautiful Bras d'Or Lakes and surrounded by trees, fresh air and wildlife. I'm looking for volunteers to help with all kinds of things beginning May, 2013. If you enjoy being active, we are close by to hiking, kayaking, biking, swimming and beaches. Workawayers are welcome to help with cleaning, making beds, landscaping, renovations and building projects, website optimization, helping travellers, answering phones etc . I host hundreds of international backpackers each season and invite you to be part of this great place! Late afternoon and night is left for BBQ's, reading in the hammocks, campfires, and music. Please contact at least a few days before as we only have room for 2-3 workawayers at a time and don't want to disappoint. Length of stay is flexible. I am currently restoring an old french farmhouse using the same materials it was built with and making the materials by hand whenever possible. The house is on five acres, mostly pasture, some oak woods. There is a tumulus, an ancient burial mound, on the land from which there are fantastic views of the Pyrenees mountains and Spain. There is one organic vegetable garden and a young orchard. I also do bronze casting. It is a very quiet and peaceful spot and the yurt, see accommodation below, is a great place to relax. From here it is possible to spend the day swimming in the Mediterranean or surfing in the Atlantic or hiking or skiing in the Pyrenees. In the area there are pre-historic caves, roman ruins and various medieval fortresses to visit.
