Hello Hosts,
my name is Ruben, I am 21 years young and I am from Germany. I've been abroad for almost a year, I lived in Sydney and Melbourne for a long time, but I've also traveled a lot in and around Australia. Now I've finally made it to Perth. I always have my hiking boots and snorkeling mask in my backpack because I really enjoy being outdoors, whether it's hiking or at the beach. I also started learning to surf this year, which I really enjoy. I have a huge passion for diving, so I did my Divemaster in Sydney last year, which allows me to lead guided tours. I'm up for almost any adventure. In 2022, I was part of a crew on a sailing trip in the Mediterranean and Atlantic, where I lived on a catamaran with three Polish families for 2.5 weeks. I would say that I am very socially matchable and enjoy discovering new cultures. I also enjoy learning new languages and improving the ones I already know. I love animals and taking care of them. I am eager to learn new things and skills during my stay. I am also a very reliable, punctual and hard working person. I keep an eye on detail and I will keep my space clean and tidy.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've done a lot of construction work. I have done landscaping, roofing, drilling cable channels, painting, caulking and much more. I'm used to working with many types of power tools such as drills, grinders and jackhammers. In Sydney I spent some time cleaning the underwater boat with diving equipment. In 2022, I sailed for a few weeks with two different crews in the Mediterranean. There I learned a bit about how to sail a boat. In the same year, I graduated from secondary school, majoring in information technology and electrical engineering.
