Hola !
I’m Abbie, a 25 year old solo traveller from the UK. After three years working in healthcare I have taken a career break to spend a year travelling through Latin America.

I am a friendly, happy and hard-working person looking for opportunities that will help me make a positive difference to people and communities all around the world.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

For the last three years I have worked in healthcare in the UK. I spent the first year working in domiciliary care for the elderly, and the last two years working as a client services coordinator for a London-based pathology and histopathology laboratory. I have further undertaken various volunteer positions, including translating and transcribing interview and workshop data for a Mexican NGO, working as an assistant chef for a local community interest group, and tutoring spanish online to young children. Having spent a year studying international relations in Mexico City as part of my university degree, I have also developed a level of fluency in Spanish. I love speaking, connecting with locals and hearing the language nuances that exist in different Hispanic countries. These experiences have given me the opportunity to meet and interact with people from all walks of life, helping me to become an open-minded, free thinking and easy-going person who is eager to continue exploring the globe.

The main goal I would like to fulfil whilst travelling is to learn more about humanitarian aid and eco projects. I believe a little help goes a long way, and I am passionate about helping and empowering others.
