  Description

  This is a house sitting opportunity in exchange for caring for our disabled, senior dog who uses a wheelchair. It requires patience, lifting and carrying the dog and helping her go to the bathroom. We are looking for an animal loving, mature and responsible couple to care for our dog while we are away travelling. We live in Gatineau…just across the river from beautiful Ottawa. Our place is located next to the river, beautiful park and lots of biking and cross country skiing trails and river surfing. If you are an active person or just like checking out our capital city, it is all a stone away from where we live. We live in in a large, open, two story condo that is cozy and comfy.

  This area is is close to central urban spots of Ottawa, aylmer, Gatineau while having an outdoorsy feel with access to hiking, skiing and water activities. Short bus ride takes you to downtown Ottawa where you can visit parliament as well as museums.

  We are looking for an animal loving, mature and responsible couple to care for our disabled dog while we are away traveling.

  The dog needs to be carried downstairs to be put into a wheelchair twice a day and taken for a walk. She also needs help going to the bathroom. We are looking for someone strong enough to carry a 40 pound dog from our second story condo as well as comfortable with expressing her bladder and helping her go to the bathroom. She sleeps most of the day but likes snuggles and pets. She is a funny senior dog who will make you smile.
