  Description

  We're seeking a vibrant individual to join our blended family as a cultural exchange participant and household assistant. With two energetic boys, aged 4 and 9, there's never a dull moment in our bustling home. We're looking for someone reliable who can help with household tasks.
  
  Our 4-year-old gets out of preschool at 4 pm. Our 9-year-old is involved in swim team, rugby, and sometimes summer camps. We keep him engaged and active.
  
  We value independence and compassion in our household, so we're seeking someone who embodies these qualities. Responsibilities will include maintaining the main areas of the house, handling laundry, and preparing meals, all while ensuring a comfortable and organized environment for the family. Our family will also benefit from culture sharing.
  
  Mom works one day a week at the local university office while Dad works in sales. Though the kids are gone every other weekend, our family is always on the go, enjoying summer days at the pool, weekend trips, walking by the river, and at the beach with friends.
  
  For accommodation, we offer a cozy RV in our backyard as your private space. The RV features a toilet and sink for added convenience, while the kitchen, bathroom, and living areas in the main home are communal and welcoming.
  
  Having welcomed participants for cultural exchange in the past, we understand the value of fostering a harmonious family environment. We eagerly await someone who can seamlessly integrate into our dynamic and contribute positively to our household.

  Travelers staying with us will assist us primarily cultural exchange, household organization, and providing occasional supervision. They will also help with laundry tasks such as sorting and putting away clothes, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the main areas of the home. Additionally, there may be other small projects around the home where assistance would be appreciated.
  
  Our home is located in Oregon Hill, a charming neighborhood in the heart of Richmond, Virginia. This vibrant area offers a blend of historical charm and modern amenities, with plenty of parks, shops, and restaurants to explore nearby.
