My experience.... MY experience..... MY EXPERIENCE! Was Phenomenal!! hahaha Always things to do and always fun to be had. What amazing hosts Bill and Fabienne were or sorry.... ARE!!! ;) the amount of projects that was happening and being done where limitless and exciting. Making plans, putting things together, meeting fantastic people, going to events, and going on outings was spectacular. I will forever treasure the experiences shared with all parties involved and grateful for the amount of time and effort put in, but more importantly the smiles and the laughter. There will be work and there is always something to do. It's a go go go mentality and a fun fun fun outcome!! You guys are amazing and you should know it :D Look after yourselves and look forward to when we cross paths again ;P

I stayed with Kat and Michael's family in Vancouver for 10 days. It's a big house with lots going and I had a wonderful time. I mostly looked after their two kids, doing the school run, cooking and cleaning. It's a great location and a lot of fun. Thanks! Henry

What an incredible stay with Cam and Jeanne! I spent 10 days with them, and it was wonderful. During my stay, I was able to take full advantage of the island by canoeing, hiking and walking on the island with crazy views! I was able to observe many animals both in the sea and on the island. I spent most of the time outside, repairing fences or doing a bit of gardening. Cam and Jeanne are adorable, they have so many stories to tell that you can't get enough of them! They were very caring and made sure we had everything we needed. The meals were just delicious (and I say that as a Frenchman ahah). Cam taught us how to play Crib and we even ended our stay with a tournament (which I lost, sniff). Cam and I shared some very pleasant and very stressful moments watching the Canucks playoff games! I left with lots of memories, and I hope to come back to the area to see them again! This was my first Workaway and I recommend you come and spend a few days or weeks with them!

I had a great experience staying for two weeks in this beautiful place! Michèle was a really wonderful host and took me to a lot of places and events in the local area, including an art festival and a dancing evening as well as pretty areas around. The nature and villages around are incredibly pretty and there are lovely walks/bike rides/ trails. The work was good and I had the afternoons to spend as I wished as well as the weekends free. The lunches were really lovely and we had fresh seafood sometimes. I am only sad that my french isn't better!! I would definitely recommend. Thank you very much for everything!

hello! sorry it's very late, me and Sam stayed a couple months back and we had a great time with char and Harley! right from the start they were smiling and welcoming. we stayed in a bus just up the road which was very comfy, we got to help with fencing the goats out of the garden (I hope they haven't eaten any more of the garden) did lots of logging and painting which we enjoyed, gardening and plum picking. it's a lovely laid back place to be so we ended up staying longer of course! they even came and picked us up when another work away didn't work out! the work was great and the weekends were fantastic, pool tournaments with neighbours and their work away guys. char makes a mean plum cordial that we both loved! we made cakes and jam and the food was great, even home made sausages! there's loads I've missed but to list all the fun things would be unreadable haha. great hosts, speak soon!

Lev stayed with us for five days. It was a pleasure to have him around. He helped willingly wherever he was needed. We also enjoyed good conversations about many different topics. Thanks for coming by, Lev! May God bless you!

this was one of my best experiences travelling so far, Santi and Alan are so nice and welcoming and will teach you a lot about their culture especially if you do the hikes they offer because they are so much more special then with a usual tourist guide. The work isn't too hard and really nice because you do it all together and you can pick what you want to do each day. The food was amazing and a lot, it's so nice cooking all together and you can learn a lot through this also. I recommend mucho mucho😄😁 lots of love 😘😘😘

It is difficult to believe that one month of volunteering in Skillinge went by so quickly. We are honored to have been the first volunteers of this Spring/Summer season. Our experience was incredibly rewarding and fulfilling, to see our hard work come into fruition and have the opportunity to serve the local community. Some of the projects that we had the opportunity to take part in included: preparing the art exhibition rooms for two local artists, getting the event space ready to receive visitors, renovating a bedroom, assisting with stage design for the upcoming summer play, painting a mural in our host’s apartment, pressure washing the exterior of the restaurant building, and more. It felt that every small contribution we added to made a difference in the improvement of the property and future projects. We were given a wonderful and cozy space to relax with other volunteers. In the last week of our time in Skillinge, we were a volunteer community of eight people, which never failed to make the space lively and enjoyable. Everyday was filled with jovial energy and Karin’s positive attitude made the experience fantastic. We greatly appreciated the cultural exchange that we experienced, we learned more about Swedish traditions and holidays and as stayed for the duration of the Easter season. If you are considering volunteering in Skåne, we highly recommend this experience to any Workawayer who wants to get in touch with their creative side!

Our experience with Adeline has been really very, very positive. She is a person who, if can be described in a few words, embodies balance, peace, respect, proactivity, kindness. We enjoy being able to talk about any topic. She has an absolute sensitivity for animals, landscapes, plants, and daily household care. She likes to cook, and she does it very well (even using elderly pumpkins). A wonderful sense of humor. And she is also very organized, and methodical but natural in the same time. We would have loved for her to have stayed longer. And, OF COURSE, Adeline, we would love for you to come back at some point because the doors will always be open for you. Thank you very much for all this energy you have given us, for all your help, your goodwill, your collaboration, and for being part of the family during this time. Thank you very much.

Ce fut un plaisir d'accueillir Marie-Cristin en avril. Marie-Cristin est très souriante et très agréable au quotidien, et elle est désireuse d'aider au maximum ses hôtes. Nous avons eu de belles discussions et passé de bons moments ensemble y compris aller au Fest-Noz et visiter Concarneau.

I loved staying at Niki and Eva's! The guest house has a really nice vibe and the work was good, mostly just housework and walking Joey :) As it's not too big, you are able to have good conversations with everyone and it's quite relaxed. It's was interesting learning about Niki and Eva's story! I found them very inspiring, interesting, and kind :) There is also lots of time you have for yourself. Being so close to the beach was nice and the sunsets are stunning!! Would highly recommend going out with the surfing group at some point too - super fun and Kostja is a great teacher for beginners. Also, the Indian place nearby called Mahindra is really great if you're looking for somewhere to eat. Thanks again guys!

Writing feedback for these wonderful people Quinn and Pratik is easy. We can only rave about them. We already knew Quinn from 2022 and were thrilled with her back then. But when she brought her super-friendly, super-intelligent and well-behaved boyfriend with her this year, it was just brilliant. Nothing is too much for either of them. They are highly intelligent and Pratik has a great deal of knowledge about animals and their protection. They worked on the front line of the neutering and vaccinate campaign. But they were also a huge asset. When you have volunteers like that, you can take your Fridays. You just know that the animals are in the best hands. We very much hope they will come back, the longer the better. Thank you Quinn and Pratik, you are just great.

I enjoyed my visit to Jardin and volunteering at this hostal. It was the smallest hostal I've volunteered at so far, only having 4 rooms, but the guests were great. The location was wonderful, and Jhon is a very considerate person. The various potential room configurations and the fact that there are only 2 dorms can cause some need for moving beds during busy tourist seasons, but that is pretty manageable. I didn't think through how loud the church bells would be, and the best way to make sure you get time off is to leave the hostal. All told, it was a positive experience.

Everything was beautiful : Tatiana, Michaël, Ana and baby Nadia, Bubba, such a nice dog and even Mitsy the cat( sorry Ana😉), the hostel, one of the best I've been in and I'm 50 years old ! The view toward the lake and the montagnes, the national Park around, thé food, Easter Time, the energy and Rachel and James, my coenglish workayers. If you like to put your heart at what you are doing and where you are, this place is for you. Beautiful and so Balkans attitude. Take Care, I would keep up date on your progress, send all my friends to your place and thanks for everything.

Sarah, es una persona muy respetuosa, ordenada y gran compañera. Una excelente trabajadora, una chef profesional. Fue enriquecedor tenerla con la familia, teniendo grandes charlas. Debo decir que cocina muy bien y he tenido un descanso gracias a ella. Es una persona muy tranquila, siempre respeta las reglas de la casa. Sin duda la recibiremos cuando regrese porque es una buena persona.

Jack and Megan are an couple understanding, sweet and kind soul full of good ideas. they did helped me to ameliorate my website and developed my social media they can be trusted with any task and will perform it as wished. Unfortunately the lovely couple spend only 6 days with us, but in those days took care of my business and my children with great care and offered me helping with computer 💻and playing with children,in every possible occasion. So thank you for everything and we would be honoured to see you between us if you come back to Morocco in the future! Sara invited you to play card ♦️♠️.hehehe.

Absolutely perfect! I spent a wonderful month in this beautiful region of Poland and made a lot of great memories. Marcin is the best host you could hope for, friendly, helpful, patient, etc. He taught me a lot of things and he's a wonderful cook! He also has lots of tips for discovering the area and recommends the best hikes tbh. The accomodations are great, comfortable and super cosy and the place as a whole is just very comfy and you can't help but feel at ease there. It's incredibly peaceful, surrounded with beautiful nature. The work is super interesting too, I did a lot of different things, experienced new things and also learned a lot. It was really rewarding to work with the animals, who were all very lovely. To sum it up, I only can say that I really, really, really enjoyed my stay there and would definitively recommend it!

I can't recommend enough Tom and Kate as they are so lovely humans and so welcoming. It was an amazing time for me, helping Tom cooking for events, trying new drink recipes and learning so many things from how a chef organise his job to how to forage and use wild food ! Was a great experience to understand more about their relations to Mothers nature, First nations and spirituality. We had great conversations about it and I even went to a sweat lodge with Tom! The food provided was obviously amazing, the rhythm was chill and the balance between helping and free time was great ! I'm really happy to go back see them in couple weeks ☺️ See you soon ❤️
