Hi there! :)
I studied biology at university and took a gap year and have decided to stop for now. I worked and traveled to Madagascar and Spain to do some volunteer work. I met amazing people, lived more off grid in beautiful nature and helped out with many different things (agroforest, research, teaching, etc). I also got my diving certificate, which amplified my love for the ocean and marine life. I connected with who I am and who I want to be.
I want to travel more, learn more about self-sustainability, nature & skills surrounding this, and connect with amazing, likeminded people.

I really love and appreciate nature. I love being in nature and going for (long) walks and hikes. I also love exploring new places, meeting new people, learning about different cultures, languages, activities and music and (therefore) traveling. I also really love learning; especially about nature and biology, but also about culture, religion and languages.
I have been learning more about gardening and eco-construction and would love to learn so much more! I have some skills in these fields and I am a fast and eager learner.

I really value respect and kindness towards everything and everyone around me. I love being with others, playing (card) games, listening to music and taking care of animals.
I want to give back; to the world and to others. I love helping out, any way I can. I like to be busy and work hard. When I do something, I put in all that I've got.

I'm easy going and make friends easily l. I have a lot of love, energy and positivity to give. I am a kind and positive person and I always try to make everyone smile and feel at ease. I am always there to give a hug, some advice or just a listening ear.

More details about my language interests
I would love to improve my Spanish, French and German!! But I would also love to learn other languages, like I have been learning a little bit of Malagasy. I have some experience with teaching English during my volunteer work in Madagascar and would like to teach English and/or Dutch.

I have some experience with eco-construction, sharpening tools, different methods of planting (trees) and different gardening and reusing skills.
I have a driver's license and an open water diving certificate.
I studied biology and finished my first year cum laude. I love and am good at learning. I'm analytical and a fast learner. Besides that I'm a really dedicated person. When I start or do something, I go all the way. On top of that; I really like a challenge.
I also value honesty and communication, so I am open to criticism and improvements and will ask questions where I need.
I've had different jobs; in cafés, a chocolate shop, and restaurant in a zoo, but I also volunteered and worked at a pet boarding house. I'm a responsible person and love taking care of animals! I also have a dog (and now a puppy), a turtle and chickens at home. We also have a garden that I love to work in.
Besides that, I volunteered in Madagascar for 2,5 months. I learnt and experienced many things here. I helped with research on the animals, I learnt the names of all the animals on the island, helped with construction in our plant nursery, helped with our agroforest and I taught English to my class of amazing students :)
I'm fluent in Dutch and English, I know a little French and German and I want to learn Spanish.
