Ama has a big heart and wants to help wherever she can, which is also reflected in her projects. I have great respect for her and her will to make things happen for a better Nepal. I was only able to spend two weeks there, but I learnt a lot in that short time. Thank you for everything and the great hospitality.

Overall, I had a good experience at the guesthouse. I created a mural which I really enjoyed. I also was included as part of the family and went on a day hike with the host and his son and the views were incredible. The food was amazing and I got to learn some Hindi when I was there. The host lives with his parents, wife and sometimes sons, so it was nice to get to know the family members and they are very generous people. I got to stay in my own private cottage that was very luxury and comfortable, it is perfect for nature lovers. The only comment I would leave is that at times I felt uncomfortable as a solo woman.

It was a pleasure to have Ina at my farm. She helped with the sheep, horses and foals, gardens, and around the house. Ina is a pretty confident rider and takes feedback well. She likes to learn. Together we restarted a young gelding and started a big pony. Ina is hardworking and pleasant. Best wishes for your future!

Benni, Al and Zephyr are a lovely family who are super nice, flexible and make your stay in the middle of the jungle so pleasant. They love nature and are so open and welcoming that you immediately feel at home. We were always able to arrange when we wanted to work and were always able to consult with them about any work. We learned a lot about the plants and wildlife and were also able to visit the small village of Cambutal. And of course we didn't miss out on surfing. There are kilometers of pristine beach right on the doorstep, perfect for surfing, will jumping or walking. A unique experience! Thank you very much.

I had an amazing experience at Scottie and Nicole's place. The description at its profile is very accurate, the place is really beautiful in the middle of a rainforest, you'll be surrounded by nature in a peacefull space. About the work, I mainly helped with weeding and some replanting, it was interesting to learn about it as it is my fist time inmersed in that kind of task. Talking about getting to know the island while you're there. I did a lot of hitchhiking and I used the public bus that is free, you need to be aware of the schedule and pay attention to time but it is a wonderful experience. People always help the best as they can. I would totally recommend this workaway experience, it is very unique 👌 Mahalo, Scottie and Nicole

Mi tiempo en guesthouse superó todas mis expectativas. Lo que originalmente planeaba ser solo dos semanas se extendió a un mes completo, y cada día fue una maravilla. Las tareas de limpieza, aunque simples, se convirtieron en una rutina reconfortante que me permitió sentirme útil y contribuir al bienestar del lugar. El ambiente en la guesthouse era verdaderamente acogedor; desde el momento en que llegué, Gonzalo y Kat me hicieron sentir como en casa. La hospitalidad y la amabilidad de Gonzalo y Kat me acompañaron durante toda mi estancia. No solo estaban siempre disponibles para ayudarme con cualquier pregunta o necesidad que tuviera, sino que ahora se han convertido en buenos amigos que siempre recordaré. Pasamos noches riendo y compartiendo historias, lo que hizo que mi estadía fuera aún más memorable. Además, la ubicación de guesthouse es excelente. Está convenientemente situado cerca de todo lo que puedas necesitar: tiendas, restaurantes, ¡lo que sea! Esto hizo que explorar la zona fuera fácil y conveniente. En resumen, mi experiencia en guesthouse fue verdaderamente inolvidable. La combinación de tareas sencillas pero satisfactorias, un ambiente acogedor y la increíble hospitalidad de Gonzalo y Kat hicieron que mi tiempo allí fuera excepcional. Pasé un tiempo realmente increíble durante 6 semanas en La Florida. Vine para quedarme dos semanas y terminé pasando mucho más tiempo en este hermoso lugar con gente increíble. Cuidé animales, hice algunos cuadros, pinté la casa, preparé cultivacion de hongos y mucho más. Omero, Anita, sus familiares, amigos, Vicky, Damaris, Ruth y sus amigas, todas las personas que conocí son súper amables conmigo. Me sentí muy parte de la familia y tuve mucha experiencia cultural. Es uno de los mejores momentos de mi viaje y tengo muy buenos recuerdos ahora. Recomiendo encarecidamente a los viajeros que visiten aquí.

Pour Paulo. engenieur civil, il a su tres rapidement s'adapter et prendre les choses en mains pour aider, ameliorer et reparer: plan du four de boulanger, re ammenagement et nettoyage de la zone volontaire, reparation des bicyclettes, dessin et pose de la premiere des portes coulissantes en collaboration avec Panat. Une efficacite surprenante. Pour Karine, son aide dans le laboratoire de boulangerie a ete precieuse, elle a le sens du detail et de la proprete, elle a aussi nettoye la zone volontaire. Encore une fois jon leur dit un tres grand merci et chapeau pour tout ce que vous avez fait. Definitivement revenez nous voir ou nous essaierons de passer lors d'un prochain voyage en France. Nous ne pouvons que les recommander fortement. Un grand merci. 5 stars for Paulo and Karine. My experience with Paulo and Karine was one of the best of all our collaborations with workaway. For Paulo, a civil engineer, he was able to adapt very quickly and take things in hand to help, improve and repair: plan of the baker's oven, rearrangement and cleaning of the volunteer area, repair of the bicycles, design and fitting of the first of the sliding doors in collaboration with Panat. Surprisingly efficient. As for Karine, her help in the bakery laboratory was invaluable, she has an eye for detail and cleanliness, and she also cleaned the volunteer area. Once again, I'd like to say a big thank you to all of you, and hats off to you for everything you've done. Definitely come and see us again or we'll try and pop in on a future trip to France. We can only highly recommend them. Many thanks.

Amelie was our first Workaway! She was kind and communicative about her needs and suggestions for the property. She was a short stay for us but was experienced with other Workaway and was able to contribute during her time.

Keith and Sandra are amazing hosts! I loved every single minute there and if my plans hadn't been so tight I would have stayed there longer than just a month. It was always a funny and family atmosphere and I'm really happy to got to meet you guys :)

Ali was a pleasure to host. Curious, funny, organized, interesting, and super good at seeing things as a designer. She participated in our women's permaculture course, and had an opportunity to teach a segment that showed her outstanding skills as an educator. She learned about building with bamboo while she was here and helped design and build a beautiful table for our new living room. We wish her all the best, and would welcome her back.

Amazing place Yvytu and amazing host Tere… I was thinking of staying a week but it ended a mouth. If I didn't have to move, I might stay even longer. Yvytu surrounds with natural reserves, everywhere green, green, green, and butterflies with all colors and birds, tucans, snakes, many kinds of insects, and many more animals visiting every day. Also has many trails around and you can see even more of them. There has a huge, warm heart; she gives so much love and she shares everything that she has. I am feeling so grateful to meet with her and spend some really calm time in Yvytu and I hope I can visit them again….

I had a great experience staying with my hosts, Monica and Ryan. They are easygoing, welcoming, and friendly. There were many fun activities that they offered, including hiking on the Cup and Saucer trail, visiting the beach at Providence Bay, taking a couple of trips to Espanola and Sudbury, joining Ryan and his friends in a music jam and dance community, having a campfire, and experiencing my first S'mores. Even working was fun. We worked on a lot of projects, including digging new gardens, taking down the old exterior wall to prepare for renovation, finding a location for a tent and leveling it to put up the tent, building a long bridge with Ryan, removing fallen trees from the forest, and babysitting, which was really nice. Una is cheerful and makes you feel the same. I also got to learn how to make bread and lasagna thanks to Monica. Overall, it was a very good and valuable experience. I certainly recommend it to anybody looking for a nice place with nice people.

Smila came to stay with us for two weeks and was an absolute pleasure to have around. She was so easy to get along with and worked really hard. My kids thought she was the best!! We loved getting to know her; hearing all about her travels round the world, and enjoying her delicious baking. I never had to ask for help she was always looking for ways to make our lives easier and be useful. It was really sad to say bye and I hope we stay in touch...Good luck with the rest of your gap year Smila! 😃

I had the best time at the hostel. I spent 2 months working at reception and would really recommend it to anyone. The work is fairly simple and is quiet interesting as you get to know how a hostel is run. The manager is super kind and was always encouraging at work, which made the work really enjoyable. I met so many people during the 2 months and made lifetime friendships. The hostel is located in Sea Point very close to the ocean, which is perfect to walk around cape town. I can only recommend anybody to go there and become part of the family. I hope to return there in the future :)

Gosh.. these lovely dreadlock souls are so gifted & talented with wood. Hannah & Jakob are very passionate about wood & carpentry. They revived 3 ..40 year old beds, with such precision & care. I had a lovely time with these 2 hippies & seeing the world thru them & learning from them, while comparing stories of change between decades. Really looking forward to meeting up someday.. In Africa😍 Thank you for everything guys.. 😘

Ella es profesora de inglés, pero siempre le encantó desarrollar la pequeña escuela y comunicarse con los extranjeros para brindarles a los niños la mejor experiencia educativa. Disfrutamos mucho hablando con ella. conocer a su familia y los estudiantes son educados y motivados para aprender. Ser voluntario allí es fácil y el clima es bueno y cálido. Fue una experiencia enriquecedora la que pudimos compartir con este maravilloso grupo. El club de inglés, y el ambiente es genial volveríamos cada vez que visitemos Honduras. I had a truely special experience staying with Veronica and Doug in their amazing home. They were both so welcoming, genuine and interesting people. I had countless interesting conversations with them about their lives, culture, the outdoors and many other topics. Doug really is great at telling stories and always up for a bit of jokey banter. My highlights had to be sitting down at the table together with a beautiful, healthy and filling meal made fresh by Veronica. Sitting down for a fulfilling delicious breakfast and coffee with the sunrise was also very special. I fell in love with their home and the local area and in my spare time managed to get out on so many great adventures. There is fantastic trail running and walking up in the hills and even a cave with some great looking climbing routes. I got to borrow a kayak to paddle out into the estuary to explore by water and even took it out to sea for an amazing sunset. I also loved borrowing a bike and cycling into Sumner for more exploration and coffee. The work was also great, I was tasked with something and could get on with it with a fantastic degree of freedom and I always felt appreciated by Veronica and Doug. I am missing the experience already and would love to cross paths with them again in the future!

Jeremy was a machine. Such a great experience to have someone to back you up so much. Super hard worker and great person. He helped me get my new project up in the air and I am super grateful. If you're lucky enough to have him apply for you don't hesitate for a second. Was great connecting with another artist and fellow tattooer. Always welcome back. Aloha bro!
