  Description

  We are located in the "border triangle" of Austria, Slovenia, Hungary in the beautyful East Styrian hill country. We are creating a Lab for Art, Nature and Awarness.
  You are very wellcome if who want to join us in taking care of the garden (organic gardening), doing construction and renovation tasks, carpentry and painting, if you are good in repairing machines or if you would like to help shape the outdoor space, plant bushes, trees and flowers. We start to renaturalise forest, floodplain and pond in a joint project near our place (two houses and workshops). There is a lot to learn, we are well networked with biologists and organic farmers. We are looking forward to diligent, helping hands and engaged people!
  
  About us:
  I am an artist, art therapist, art educator and meditation teacher and I am leading courses at this topics in Austria and abroad. The last 5 years I have been leading the project PAS at the University of Vienna with the aim to bring mindfulness into the education system.
  My husband is an architect and very interested in sustainable architecture and also in handicraft and organic farming.

  We enable our guests to participate in our many experiences in gardening, living connected with the nature, ecological building, artistic and handicraft activities and renovating. We are open-minded, interested people and we are well connected with other interesting people in this beautiful part of Austria, so you also may have the opportunity to meet our friends and their projects (different kind of organic farms, alternative housing project for communal living, organic wine production, etc.). ...

  Help

  This year we are really focussed on renovating the second house, so construction and renovation tasks, carpentry and painting. If you are interestet in shaping the outdoor space, plant bushes, trees and flowers and construct fences in a natural way. Renaturalising the pond, floodplain and forest will be a wonderful project of a nice cominity of friends and guests. In the organic garden there is always somekind of work to do, planting, harvesting, preparing compost or mowing the meadows. In all building there are always small renovation projects or new ideas waiting to be realized. Also there are always tools and machines happy to be serviced.
  When cooking together (VEGETARIAN) helping hands are wellcome and kitchen wants to be cleaned afterwards.
  In general we are very interested in getting in touch with creative people who are concerned about a mindful and benevolent interaction with others and nature.

  We would like to improve English, which connects us with people from many different cultures, and also refresh Spanish, which we learned to love during our wonderful study and research stay in Mexico decades ago. Also interessted in learning Italian.

  Accommodation

  There are diffent possibilities of accomodation: a room with your own WC and washing facilities. Or a small wooden one room house near the garden. As well as a cozy sleeping place in the house. Or a room in the house on the hill.
  There is a romantic tent site or space for a camper van. As a resident of one of the wooden houses or your tent you can use a shared bathroom in one of the houses. (You can bring your own tent). When you come, let's see what suits you most and what is free at the moment.

  What else ...

  The southeastern part of Austria is climatically very preferred and very fertile and beautiful. This borderland became a new home for many inovative people and artists. You can have contact with interesting people and projects, cycling in the wonderful landscape and discover this reagion.
