Description
We have an ancient woodland in Wales, UK with a lake. There is always a lot of work involved with keeping it functional. We will be spending all of August there and would like to invite nature loving, hard working, sociable couples to spend time making it look beautiful. We will be sharing a fire and good food. You will need a tent- a compost toilet and hot shower are provided. We have shelter for when it is raining and somewhere to dry clothes. Work will include sawing up fallen trees, pulling up Himalayan Balsam and Brambles, clearing paths and streams ( we have fresh drinking water), chopping firewood and some cooking and washing up. We have a boat , charcoal kiln and lots of clay to keep you entertained. We will also have art projects to carry out to beautify the woodland. We regularly host workawayers in Algodonales, Spain. Please refer to our site “ Casa Acequia” to see reviews.
