Description
Hi,
We are looking for a single female or a couple over 21 years old to help us with garden projects, general house maintenance and occasional house sitting.
I live on 7 acres with my twin girls (15) during school days and part of school
holidays and our large friendly dog, a cat and 4 chicken.
I have lived and travelled lots overseas and in Australia and would love to hear your travel stories.
I enjoy healthy eating, gardening, yoga, meditation, cycling, hiking, kayaking, camping and card games.
We’ve also recently repaired our piano and restrung my guitar and they are waiting for happy musical fingers🤣🎼
I try to live in a positive, joyful and compassionate way (which is sometimes challenged by my teenage daughters🤪).
We live on beautiful peaceful 7 acres in the countryside with lots of space, trees and native animals and a lovely pool. Lots of areas to chill in a hammock, by the fire place or just enjoy the sounds of birds.
If you need a break from travelling and sharing noisy backpacker rooms or want some nature time this might be great for you.
You will have your own furnished room,
3 meals a day and share a bathroom with my daughters when they’re home.
You might eat breakfast and lunch on your own but we try to share dinners together.
We have Starlink wifi in the house and Optus and Vodaphone mobile phones work but not Telstra Mobile phones.
We are located in beautiful countryside surrounded by farms 60km south of Brisbane and 65km west of the Gold Coast (each about 1 hour by car away). The nearest town for shopping is Jimboomba, 15 min away by car.
There are many wonderful places nearby to explore if you have your own car including rain forest, water falls, markets, places for cycling, hiking, kayaking and SUPing.
Or you can walk or cycle from our house in our neighbourhood with big hills for a great workout💪😄.
I have yoga mats and dumbbells you can use as well.
There are many beautiful beaches 1 hour drive away.
If you don’t have a car I’m happy to pick you up from a train station nearby or from Brisbane airport.
You can get a lift to the Gold Coast when the girls go there to stay with their Dad. You could stay in a hostel on the Gold Coast and enjoy some of the excitement and beaches there.
If this interests you I’d love to hear from you😊
Thank you,

You can experience Australian country living with native animals like kangaroos and many birds. If you have a car you can borrow my kayaks, SUP boards & enjoy some water time at a lake 30min away.
We have lots of hills around which are great for fitness - walking, jogging or cycling. You can borrow a bicycle as well.Projects involving children
