    Description

We are a LGBTQ Flower Farm and Community Center: A place we belong in the world and a place that belongs to us.

It is a safe haven where LGBTQ youth and community can gather, socialize, and support each other while connecting with nature through farming and gardening.

We are inclusive and a place of peace and welcome for the LGBTQ community and all of our friend and supporters.

Enjoy farming and all our community activities! You will enjoy farming and the opportunity to participate in a variety of events and socials at the farm.

We are a 4-acre community cooperative farm located in the beautiful and vibrant area of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Our farm is helping families, individuals, and beginning farmers learn about flower farming, produce gardens, sustainable growing and conservation. You will have the chance to design and plant various produce and flower garden areas and maintain the farm. There is fiber optic wireless internet, shower house, pizza oven, picnic tables, firepit, outdoor kitchen and we have camping cabins, tent camping and RV lots for accommodations. There is electric on site. WWOOFers will be provided some basic food staples but must prepare their own meals but there are also occasional community cooking nights and potlucks. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a farm from it's beginning. Help us transform the land into a beautiful garden sanctuary! We ask for help 5 hrs a day 5 days a week.  No smoking or drugs. Sorry, no pets.

Accommodations: There are several options for WWOOFers to stay at the farm either short term or for the entire season on a week by week evaluation. The farm has a showerhouse and outdoor hot water washing sink both a portapotty and composting toilets are available.
    1) Camping Cabin are equipped with heat/ac and kitchenette
    2) Tent Camping (we can provide a tent or you can bring your own)
    3) RV parking if you have your own RV or camper van.

Organic methods: We use organic products and cleaners.

Certifications: We practice organic methods but we are not certified organic

Current projects: Nursery start up, landscaping, garden designing, building aquaponics grow space, building gazebo and archways, painting, tending to chickens. Other tasks include seeding, weeding, planting and plant care.
