  Description

  We are Katelijne and Paul, two active people aged around 60. We manage a unique nature reserve of 2 hectares. There is an ornamental garden, 4 sheep, an ecological community garden and an old style house from 1906 in which we live. We have a guest room that we rent out through bnb. An attic room is available for workaway guests. We are looking for someone to help sand and paint the windows and shutters on the outside of our house. Katelijne has worked as a professional painter and is happy to teach you the tricks of the trade. You will stay on beautiful grounds, near the Kalmthoutse heath. Close to the village and near a station so that you can reach Antwerp in half an hour. We love an ecological lifestyle and mainly eat organic products.
  We like silence in the house, so no music in the house. If learning to paint outside appeals to you and you like being in nature and occasionally meeting people in our ecological community garden, then our place is definitely for you.
  
  Wij zijn Katelijne en Paul, twee actieve mensen van rond de 60 jaar. Wij beheren een uniek natuurterrein van 2 ha groot. Er is een siertuin, 4 schaapjes, een ecologische samentuin en een oud stijlhuis van 1906 waarin wij wonen. We hebben een gastenkamer die wij via bnb verhuren. Er is een zolderkamer beschikbaar voor workaway gasten. Wij zoeken iemand om de ramen en luiken aan de buitenkant van ons huis mee te helpen schuren en schilderen. Katelijne heeft als professionele schilder gewerkt en leert je graag de knepen van het vak. Je verblijft op een prachtig terrein, vlakbij de Kalmthoutse heide. Dichtbij het dorp en vlakbij een station zodat je op een half uur in Antwerpen bent. Wij houden van een ecologische levensstijl en eten voornamelijk bioproducten.
  Wij houden van stilte in huis, dus ook geen muziek in huis. Spreekt buiten leren schilderen je aan en hou je ervan om in de natuur te zijn en af en toe mensen te ontmoeten in onze ecologische samentuin, dan is onze plek zeker iets voor jou.

  Painting and sanding windows and shutters outside the home. No need to stand on a ladder! We take off the shutters.
  
  Schilderen en schuren van ramen en luiken buiten aan huis. Het is niet nodig om op een ladder te staan! Wij halen de luiken eraf.
