My project revolves around the garden and the desire to build connections. With a small group of friends we started to think about how and here is our definition- is a fertile and nourishing place of welcome. To practice living together in complete authenticity during a break. As part of the construction of our bioclimatic house, we organized participatory construction sites around the earth. The garden also benefited from construction sites from the start. We try to balance it with more festive moments: afternoon stories, board games and in 2022 a concert. I am a visual artist specializing in textile and plant art, Eric is a creative gardener. Together we create and maintain the nourishing, medicinal and dye garden. In addition to the house there is an old cabin and a yurt on the 4000 m² of garden and woods. The Garonne hillsides seduced me with their green hills with a mix of vine groves and meadows. Places for walks on the banks of the Garonne or marked trails allow bucolic escapades from the house. Between two seas is rich in cultural and associative offerings. The proximity of Bordeaux allows you to benefit from its attractiveness.
Mon projet s'articule autour du jardin et du désir de tisser des liens. Avec un petit groupe d'amis nous avons commencer à réfléchir comment et voici notre définition- est un lieu d'accueil fertile et nourrissant. Pour s'exercer au vivre ensemble en toute authenticité le temps d'une pause.
Dans le cadre de la construction de notre maison bioclimatique nous avons organiser des chantier participatif autour de la terre. Le jardin à bénéficier aussi de chantiers des le début. Nous essayons d'équilibrer avec des moments plus festif après-midi contes, jeu de plateau et en 2022 un concert . Je suis artiste plasticienne spécialiser dans l'art textil et vegetal , Éric est jardinier créatif. A deux nous créons et entretenons le jardin nourricier, médicinal et tinctorial. En plus de la maison il y a une anciennes cabane et une yourte sur le 4000 m²de jardin et bois.
Les coteaux de garonne mon séduits par leurs collines verdoyante avec un mix de vigne bosquet et prairie. Des lieux de promenade sur les bord de Garonne ou sentiers balisés permettent au départ de la maison des escapades bucolique. L’entre deux mers est riche de proposition culturelles et associatives . La proximité de Bordeaux permet de profiter de son attractivité.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
The plan is to welcome you to renovate the yurt which will be done with other people over the weekend. I hope to be able to organize a festive time on this occasion. We are part of different associations, groups, citizen transitions and rub shoulders with local initiatives: associative café in Lestiac, the Tramaset construction sites in Tourne.... I would be happy to share my knowledge in gardening, textiles and nature care. Éric will share his experiments with bamboo and vegetable gardens. We are curious about what excites you, your way of seeing the world, your culture, your travels. Eric will enjoy practicing English and I will practice Spanish.

Le project est de vous accueillir pour rénover la yourte ce qui se fera avec dautre personnes sur le weekend. J'espère pouvoir organiser un temps festif à cette ocassion. Nous faisons parti de diferente associations, groupe, de transitions citoyenne et côtoyons les initiatives local: café associatif à Lestiac , les chantier Tramaset au Tourne ....
J'aurais plaisir à partager mes connaissance en jardinage, textil et soin nature. Éric partagera ses expérimentation du bambou et potagères.
Nous sommes curieux de ce qui vous passionne de votre façon de voir le monde , votre culture, vos voyages. Éric aura plaisir à s'exerce à l'anglais et moi l'espagnol

The garden is a place with multiple activities. This year, in addition to the usual maintenance, we want to renovate the yurt. This will be done over a week. The activities will be renovation of the parquet flooring and interior fabrics as well as the installation of the rain shield. We will organize a project over the weekend to partially dismantle the yurt then we will work during the week on the renovation to reassemble the yurt with a project the following weekend. We carry out different works for the garden with the bamboo that we have available from the neighbor. This could be an opportunity to learn how to use the specific tools and the different ways of assembling to create a retainer or barrier. In 2023 we built a south side pergola and plan to build a second north side. Depending on your skills and desires, we can develop the projects during your stay.
As the work is mainly outside, it is the weather which sets the tempo. We prefer naps during warm hours. Schedules will be made in agreement with each person in accordance with Workaway's instructions.

Le jardin est un lieu à activité multiple. Cette année en plus de l'entretien habituelle nous désirons rénover la yourte. Cela se fera sur une semaine. Les activités serons rénovation du parquet et des tissus intérieur ainsi que que la mise en place du pare-pluie. Nous organiserons un chantier sur le weekend pour démonter partiellement la yourte puis nous travaillerons pdt la semaine à la rénovation pour remonter la yourte avec un chantier le week-end suivant.
Nous réalisons different ouvrage pour le jardin avec les bambou que nous avons à disposition chez la voisine cela pourra être l’occasion d'apprendre à utiliser les outils spécifique et les differente façon d'assembler pour réaliser retenue, barrière. En 2023 nous avons realiser une pergola cote sud et prévoyons de réaliser une deuxième côté nord
En fonction de vos compétences et envie nous pouvons faire évoluer les projets pendant votre séjours
Comme le travail est essentiellement dehors c'est la météo qui donne le tempo. Nous privilégions les sieste aux heures chaude. Les horaires se ferons en accords avec chacun dans le respect des indications de Workaway

Accommodation
The yurt will be renovated this year. You will therefore have the small cabin which usually serves as a sauna and for drying plants. Small but cozy and well insulated. Right next to the shower (cold but in the DIY yard for thermal solar panel) and shared dry toilet. The large cabin is also a summer kitchen. You will have access to our house. As long as the weather permits, we live outside. Meals are generally shared at lunchtime and independently in the morning and evening. Their organization, shopping, cooking, dishes are organized at the start of the stay during the introduction to the customary uses of the house and garden

La yourte sera en rénovation cette année. Vous aurez donc la petite cabane qui sert habituellement de sauna et pour sécher les plantes. Petite mais cosy et bien isolée. Juste à côté douche( froide mais en cour de bricolage pour panneau solaire thermique) et toilette seche commune. La grande cabane est aussi cuisine d'été. Vous aurez accès à notre maison. Tant que la météo le permet nous vivons dehors
Pour les repas ils sont généralement partagés le midi et en autonomie matin et soir. Leur organisation, courses, cuisines, vaiselles s'organisent en début de séjours lors de l'introduction aux use en coutume de la maison et du jardin

We are 30 minutes walk from Langoiran where you will find a bus to go to Bordeaux. We can lend you a bike.... the hill is steep. We pool our car trips. The Tramaset construction sites, the tour, offers concerts and refreshments. The B'artolie, Lestiac, 20 minutes on foot, also offers shows. A little further there is a cinema, producer's walk, festive summer event, 15 minutes by car. Between two seas is rich in heritage and hiking and cycling trails.

Nous sommes à 30 min à pied de Langoiran ou vous trouverez un bus pour aller à Bordeaux. Nous pouvons vous prêter un vélo.... la côte est raide. Nous mutualisonsnos déplacement voitures.
Les chantiers de Tramaset, le tourne, propose des concerts et buvette. Le B’artolie , lestiac, 20 min à pied, propose aussi des spectacles. Un peu plus loin il ya à 15 min en voiture cinéma, marche de producteur, événement festif d'été. L'entre deux mers est riche de patrimoine et de sentier de randonnée pédestre et vélo.
