Description
Looking for volunteers to start immediately, mainly evening shift, light cleaning, socialising with guests etc
Hostel in the beautiful town of Berat, Albania. The hostel building is world heritage listed and is over 200 years old. We have a total of 32 beds divided into 3 dormitories and 4 private double rooms and one 4 bed private/family room. We also have camping spots available in our garden.Types of help and learning opportunities

In your free time you will be able to explore Berat and the surrounding areas and get a good insight into the Albanian culture and way of life.
In high season we run tours to a nearby waterfall and canyons which you can join, and there is some good hiking/ walking to be done in the area.Help
We are looking for volunteers from the end of March until end of October when we close.
We are looking for energetic, fun and friendly people who enjoy being sociable and the hostel environment to help with daily running of the hostel. Volunteers who are committed, proactive, self motivated and interested in the various tasks involved in contributing to the running of a successful hostel.
Day to day tasks include helping the reception, tourist information, tour promotion, cleaning and maintenance and generally helping the tourists enjoy their time in Berat and the hostel to the maximum.
There is always something to do on your shift and we like people who can use their own initiative, if this sounds like you then we look forward to hearing from you soon :)
Due to past problems please DON'T contact if you're not willing to help out, are not able to help and pull your weight in the team which in turn causes stress to the other helpers.Languages spoken

The work is incredibly easy, and because we were in low season, we spend most of our shifts being in the hostel, available to help customers and reading, relaxing, minding our own business.
