  The inn is about 1 hour from central Hiroshima City by public transport via Kure Station.
  
  The neighbourhood of the inn is full of old houses, and a walk around the area offers a unique sea and townscape view and a time-travel experience. In the narrow alleys you will find an okonomiyaki shop run by a lady, an old sake brewery, a café in an old house and a pottery gallery. In front of the inn is a narrow strait where you can watch the ships coming and going from your window.
  
  In Japan, the population is declining, and this has a great impact, especially in the countryside. The number of vacant houses and other marginalized communities is increasing, and this has become a social issue.
  I live in Tokyo, but I am taking on the challenge of turning an old private house into an inn on an island in Hiroshima to see if I can enliven that area. I would especially like to attract more foreign tourists. There are many beautiful sceneries.
  Since last year, Japan has seen an increase in the number of foreign tourists, but most of them are concentrated in big cities like Tokyo and Osaka and tourist destinations like Kyoto and Nara.
  I would like them to come more to the countryside where nature is abundant. We hope you will consider this with us.

  When you have time on your hands based in Ondo, you can take time to visit the islands of the Seto Inland Sea and other nearby sightseeing opportunities.There are several cafes nearby.

  Please submit a report with recommendations on how we can increase the number of foreign guests and what kind of marketing is possible. We don't have much of a budget, so we are waiting for good ideas on that.
  
  A working visa is required by law in order to earn remuneration in Japan, even if it is a small amount.

  Accommodation

  The building is about 100 years old and traditional thick columns, beams and mud walls can be seen. You will feel good about your stay, with sofas, beds and dining tables ready for your modern lifestyle.
  There are two guest rooms, one on the first floor and one on the second floor, which can accommodate up to seven guests in total. The entire building is also available for rent. There is also a large shared kitchen, with dishes available for rent, plus a selection of seasonings.
