Description
HEY, HEY!
I'm Federica and I hope to meet you soon in person.
I am 32 years old and I am from Aosta, a small town in Italy surrounded by mountains.
I'm definitely a curious person who enjoy studying, listening to people and travelling (I am a chronic traveller)
I am keen on climbing, running, hiking and skiing. I want to meet new people from all around the world and I'm ready to speak and learn about your culture!
Together with my partner Didier, we decided to open the doors of our house to workawayers and so I am also telling you about him.
Didier blew out 33 candles this year and works for a furniture factory where he takes care of the design part.
I would describe him as a dreamer, passionate about films, books and travel.

⚠️SPECIFIC HELP NEEDED ⚠️
You must know that we are chronic dreamers, constantly working on new projects, however there are so many jobs to do that I can't always do by myself. For this reason,we are always looking for someone who can help us around, especially with:
- Gardening
- Putting the a floor in PVC (we have no experience at all with this unfortunately, but seems quite easy to do)
- Painting (Interiors and exteriors walls)
- Sewing, knowing how to use the sewing machine and maybe teach us.
We just found one and would like to learn :)
- Cleaning around
-DIY (Projecting, building and dreaming about new ideas with us)
Is there something you would like to help us with?
Do you already have experience in these fields? In which ones? Let's talk about this!
We will help you and instruct you, but it is better if you are able of working a little individually also.Languages spoken

EXPECTED HELP:
We normally espect an help of 3 hours a day x 5 days but we are very flexible.
We invite you also to work more during one day and take more days off! The Valley it's amazing and you have to enjoy you time here!
MEALS:
The kitchen is at your disposal.
One important thing is that we are not providing food as we discovered in the past that can be complicated for our workawayers. For this reason will not take care of your groceries. Since we have several food intolerances, we thought this would be the best solution for all. Od course, sometimes we can eat together but don't take it as a routine: we work quite far away from the home unfortunately :/
ACCOMODATION
Depending on the season, you'll stay in Aosta or in Gignod.
Aosta: you'll be in the heart of the old town.
Gignod is a small village surroanded by Nature. If you are looking for a break from the busy life, here we go! The home is located 15minutes by car from Aosta, 25 minutes by bus and 1 hour by foot. We have a spare bedroom in our home that we use for hosting our workawayers.
There are also two cats in the home waiting for your cuddles: Dumas and Lafayette :)What else ...
If you love climbing, cycling, trekking, skying and the amazing landscape of the Alps, this would be the right place for you!
We live in a small city that is just at the border with France and Switzerland, so there's the chance to have also some trip there (especially to Chamonix and Martigny, also by bus).
Aosta is not so big, but there's everything you might need.

Work included: sanding the wood, painting the cellar, building a new work table etc. Work varied a lot and we could choose when we do what!
We really appreciated the freedom that Didier and Federica gave us!
The place itself is AMAZING! So so beautiful with so many snowy mountains!

Ospitare questa coppia è stato un vero piacere.
Ci hanno aiutato in tutto e per tutto, insegnandoci inoltre molto sulle varie tecniche di compostaggio.
Consigliatissimi come workawayers :)
