Hi!
My name is Noémie and I'm a French-Canadian traveller. After having the chance last summer to spend two months in Mexico for my studies, I decided to go to Europe this winter and ongoing spring to travel for as long as possible. I hope Workaway will give me the chance to meet new people, discover new towns, learn new skills and ways of living!

I have worked a lot with children in the past from babysitting to summer camp counselor. It's something I really enjoy doing. I have also done some volunteering on farms, mostly by helping in agricultural fields. I spend most of my life living in cities so every time I get the chance to be in nature it's something I really enjoy to its fullest. I’m always open to new experiences and I would love to take part in whichever project that could help your community!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Customer service: I have worked for the past 4 years in various types of customer services. This year, I spent 5 months working in a bakery shop in Montréal, Canada which gave me the confidence to offer a quality service while switching easily from French to English.

Children: Like said previously, I have worked for many years with children. I love to create new games and activities with them.

Agricultural fields: In both Canada and Mexico, I had the chance to help with weeding, harvesting, and planting seeds on different farms.

Horse’s care: When I was younger, I did 4 years of horse riding. That hobby taught me about horse care, from feeding to showering. I've also learned to ride which gave me the ability of discipline and patience.

Cooking/meal prep: In 2022, I used to work in a kitchen as a line cook for 6 months. That experience helped me build better communication skills and it helped me bring the best of my work while being part of a team.

To summarize, I enjoy discovering new things and I’m a fast learner as long as it is in a positive and respectful environment!
