Description
Hello, I am French and i live in Tad Lo (Southern Laos) for 5 years. I support local communities in their project in order to allow them to generate incomes, mostly out of tourism.

**Brief** : If you are willing to volunteer for some weeks in southern Lao and you have skills / experience in Tourism, Welcoming guests, you might be interested !

**Context** : The village of Tad Lo is a known stop on the Bolaven Loop. Even thought travelers are coming to the area, there is still a big opportunity for development in terms of tourism offer. Having foreign volunteer helping, can allow local people to have new ideas on what they would offer and how to higher quality of the existing offer. Thanks to this improvement, it can support local community to generate incomes and have better living.
**Your mission** (which can adapt according to your skills / will) :
- help the local team in the guesthouse to welcome guests (Main task)
- Suggest improvement in the guesthouse / restaurant that you could think about (Main Task)
- improve the existing offer in terms of accomodation and food e.g work on the menu of the restaurant (Additional)
- develop skills for the local people who are in touch with travelers, such as communication, English language (Additional)

Apart for satisfaction in participating in a meaningful project, you’ll get accommodation for free during your stay in Tad Lo. Private room with bathroom at the Guesthouse

**Mission** :
- Develop the offer to be sold, by designing a range of products made out of the textiles
- Train the ladies to sew and raise awareness about quality checks
- Work on communication offline / online and create a catalog presenting the products
- Create content to communicate on media and in the community center (about natural dyeing process, about signification of the drawings / colors on the textiles, portrait of the weaving ladies etc)Langues parlées

The mission is located in Tad Lo which is a small touristic village in Southern Laos. Plenty of activity to do during free time such as going to have a bath in the river passing by the village. Trekking, etc.
