    Description

    Hi deep-France lovers,

Welcome in the Languedoc's countryside to join our team!
Vincent has been restoring this old house for quite a while with friends, and Maguelone is now helping to supervise the work and welcome woofers, from the 1st of June to the 30th of September.

We have been doing type of jobs: masonry, frames, gardening, an helper even set up a forge! We also decorate, make plasters and fine painting in the chapel; it's nice if you have skills but there is also place for beginners. We use bio-sourced materials and old materials on site, and we plan to restart a woodworking machine and a forge.

A stonemason and a mason will also come to help us with technical aspects of the construction site. We work a good five hours a day (not on Sundays!) but it's flexible: feel really free to take days out to enjoy the area, we're near Saint-Guilhem-le-désert and other beautiful places to visit.

It's a late XVII century house, lot of charm and space but only matresses to sleep on; comfort of XXIst century is coming on: electricity, washing machine and even hot water in the bathroom! Although it's too geek for the house, wi-fi is there. And a well-tuned piano.

We cook together and we look forward to combine local and world recipes... Those who love nature, heritage, sun, young and lively atmosphere (friends and cousins are coming for helping all summer long) are very welcome to bring an international flavour to our traditional French way of living.

    See u soon,
    Vincent & Maguelone
