Cecily was a great part of the team, such a nice girl, a hard worker, very easy going and we had a lot fun together with her and the other workawayers. She really fits into any group of people and she is also a great artist and made us a beautiful gift for the Glamping. Keep up the good work Cec!

What a great couple, so energetic, pro active, funny and great to have at our place. However the weather was not so good, every day they put great effort in the tasks that needed to be done. They came up with great ideas, they spend time during the meals with other workawayers and with me, we really enjoyed it!

Ah dear little Romane, we had a great workaway experience with her! She greeted us with a hug as natural as though we had known eachother for years, and we clicked straight away. During our month with Romane her communication was excellent and also her english was fluent. She had a fantastic attitude and nothing was any trouble, always merry and upbeat. The work was done to a good standard and she was great with the animals. Also, very brave at trying new things and it was nice that our friends (who are neighbours of ours and) that do workaway also had a female workawayer so they spent some time together, fond memories particularly of us all dressing up as The Sopranos for Halloween! I would have no hesitation for recommending Romane for any workaway placement and beyond.

One of the best experiences I have ever done. Jarl is really kind and happy and we have passed lots of adventures! Some work, walks, paddle boards and happy moments! Bolosøya is a beautiful and quite place with kind people and offers great views! Thank you Jarl. See you soon :)

I really enjoyed my time there with Deborah and Tayip (and their familly&friends from the region). They're unique people, I really enjoyed to meet them and take part in their life. We laughed together and talked about so many interesting things! The place is amazing, it was really what I was looking for, being lost in wildness of the mountains with a crazy view on the sea, surrounded by so many animals, I loved it. Tasks I had to do were very diverse, like picking branches from olive trees on the land, feeding animals, moving stuff, destroying a kitchen to renovate it or helping Tayip in his greenhouses. Food was always delicious and generously made by Deborah (I also had the pleasure to help her sometimes on that). Communication was smooth and I was able to have my own time to do personal stuff. We also went to local markets, I had the chance to discover a turkish wedding and to meet people from the neighboorhod (with other workaway projects). Grateful for all of that!! thanks again Deborah and Tayip <3

I don't have enough words to describe how amazing was my time here with the Peschen family, they are a really beautiful fun, and kind family! I did all sort of things while volunteering with them, build and paint a wall, make furniture, make some paints for the ice shop, cakes decoration, event planning, planting, file organization,etc. there's always something to do so you'll never be bored. They are really respectful with the amount of hours of work and the diners they offer are out of this world, the best food I've had in Africa by far! Tom and Jo, thanks again for everything, I miss you all, send my love to the kids!

Having Michele volunteering for 2,5 months at our farm was a delight. We got along so well, and quickly found a good way to cooperate, organize and develop our different farm projects. Michele is punctual, invested in everything he does, and is very friendly and very cooperative. He loves animals and nature, which made him a great match for us here. We give Michele our best recommendations. We hope you will come back another time Michele!

We had a very worky week (we're looking forward to see the full terrace next time!!) in beautiful surroundings (there's the sea everywhere around and you definitely have to go to Svendborg, Langeland and when you're into fairytales to Odense's Hans Christian Andersen museum) with such a nice family and the best cook Eliane! We're already missing you all! Oh, even if there's no door, you have your private space behind the fabric, it's like a separate room and it's totally fine and cosy in there, but you have to know, that you will hear the family in the mornings (or you have to wake up early with them - no problem either).

My husband and I stayed with them for 2 weeks. Bart and Veronica is so thoughtful and super kind that always care about if we have any inconveniences. They took us to many nice places like touring in San Francisco, California University in Berkeley, wineries seafood restaurant and Japanese restaurant. Also very dishes Bart makes never disappoints. The tasks are not difficult mostly doing dishes, weeding and cleaning yard. They often encourage us to take a break so we’ve never worked for 3 hours continuously. What we really enjoyed is board games. They have plenty kinds of games which are so fun. I think I’ll collect some of them after I back home. Also what made our stay so enjoyable is Bart and Veronica are so interested in Japanese culture and our point of view about things. We both were so happy answering to the questions. I’ll definitely recommend them as great hosts and we are willing to come back to see them.

Dear Zhafran, Safira, Humairah and Maryam, I am happy and very grateful for this short encounter with you! Thank you for your hospitality, for your help with finding a doctor and for those moments of fun together talking and juggling at your home and spending time at the golf course with its beautiful lake and mountains. You are a wonderful family and I would have loved to spend more time with you! You all have a busy life with work and school and then you needed to go urgently to your home town. Nevertheless you did your best in supporting me to organize my plans! Thank you for this! I will definitely take a nice and warm memory of you with me in my heart. I wish you all the best! It would be nice to see each other again some time. Take care!

We spent two and a half weeks here and we had a great time with the nicest people! We helped out on with animals and the garden and other little things like washing the dishes etc.. We enjoyed the work and afterwards we’d have plenty of free time to hang out, go to the beach or to the city. The food there is also amazing, compliments to the chefs! Special thanks to Alice, Auri and Stefano and their friends for hanging out with us and making us feel included 💖

Hello Workawayers, working here has been my first work experience using the platform. In this sense, in addition to expressing my gratitude for the excellent opportunity and the vote of confidence, I must say that I have had very good fortune. Marco is a person with a lot of experience working with volunteers, he knows exactly how to assign daily tasks: the right workload and the right free time. The farm is very complete, there is always something new to do and a lot to learn. What more can I say? The farm is beautiful, the animals, dogs and cats are very affectionate, the food is delicious. Manual work makes you sweat and get calluses on your hands, which satisfied me a lot. Today is my last day, after almost a month, I would just like to finish by saying: thank you for everything Marco, Zaki and Mor. I leave you with a big hug.

What a luxurious stay for work-awayer! We stayed one week in beautiful Berzi, got this nice appartment to stay (luckily, because the weather was not so great!) and were treated like holiday-guests with full-board! The food was delicious, high quality and all perfectly organised. Anja and Markus are well-organised and never forgot the breaks. We worked in the olive groves, in the garden and in the house. There is a lot to do and a lot to learn. We had nice talks and learned a lot about the local culture, because both try to adapt well in the local society and have already managed plenty of good relations with Italian neighbours. Work-awayers are treated with great respect and the work is well appreciated. We can highly recomment the stay with Anja and Markus!

Kathy and Milos were great workawayers, and stayed with us for just a week, but in that time, they were a great help to us. Gerard was very busy with the dairy side of the farm, and so they were able to help us with weeding and transplanting vegetables for us. I'm sure they were tired of weeding by the end of the week! Communication was easy as they both spoke English very well and they were very conscientious, and considerate. We would highly recommend them to any host family. Good luck in their future adventures.

Weronika spent a couple of months at our home in Autumn 2023, and she was the most wonderful workawayer you can find. She was, most importantly, amazing with the kids. She knew how to manage them and entertain them so well. At home she was a great help, giving us a great hand with the home chores. She also was lovely with our dog. Personality wise, she's so polite, interesting, active and sweet. She's also very active and always has a positive attitude. To be honest, she immediately fit in and it really felt like she was part of our family. We are super fond of her and wish her to come back whenever she feels like, as our home is now hers too. If you read this because you are considering Weronika as your next workawayer, think no more, she will be perfect for any team or any task you need. Absolutely recommended! So - after a festival, Myron and another Workaway stayed at my place in Melbourne for a week. It was frankly a whole lot of fun, while also trying to get their cars fixed. Frankly, he would be welcome back anytime - as my guest. But it is how I met Myron that was the great part! - So please read. Myron volunteered to assist us during a festival. That is once it had begun and unpaid! That says something wonderful about Myron and his interest in genuinely experiencing things. We had been assigned a much bigger area than expected on the same budget. So extra help was sorely needed. From the start Myron helped with the heavy lifting. And we had about ten days worth. For all of us, these were long hard days, yet Myron worked even 12 hours days along side and just as hard as the rest of us, and with gusto! This was NOT required but ever so gratefully received. . Myron proved to be skilled at construction worked and was easily able to work efficiently on his own or as a team leader. To be frank, while we would have got there in the end, it would simply not have been as good as it was without Myron's input. From all of us - a very big thanks Mate! On a personal level, Myron is a genuinely decent and a very likeable bloke. I should know as I worked side by side with him. Myron was invited into our camp ground, with the rest of the crew, and proved to be a popular and respected addition, with a delightful sense of humour. All the best in your travels and life Mate! This was my first workaway experience, and I could not have ask for a better one. Mustafa is a very kind soul and a good person, he will be understanding with you, treat you well and care for you. His beautiful farm is near Kaman, situated in the center of nature. There is plenty of fresh air to breath! Mustafa's family, his wife, mother, kids and relatives, where all so much fun to be with. I truly had such a wonderfull time, thank you Mustafa for everything, i will keep this experience with me for the rest of my life :)

We already miss you two sooo much, really wish you had stayed here even longer:) thanks for everything you did here and just being part of our family<3 So happy that you and Pratik have been the first two workawayers here, couldn't have wished for anyone better than you. Lea was a lovely person to have around sometimes hard to stop her from working set her goals and wouldn't stop till she finished. Billy dog and Kat loved her. Very pleasant nature and we could have a laugh. Would recommend her to anyone.
