Description
I live alone in an old villa surrounded by a big garden in a small town called Loviisa by the sea, about 80 km East from Helsinki. Now that my family is no longer with me, the big garden, especially in spring, is too much for me to manage alone.

Loviisa is an old historic small town with lots to offer. There is access to sea and many interesting destinations within a radius of 100 kilometers. Helsinki is easily reachable by public transport. If you are interested, you can learn about beekeeping and all aspects of gardening with me.
Help
Climate change is affecting our gardens, especially here by the sea. Drought is a serious problem. I am trying to develop water features and organize a rainwater collecting system. But I cannot do this alone. Two pairs of able hands would be most welcome! Anywhere from 2 to six weeks starting in early May.

You have a unique chance to stay in a quaint bee house. Built in 1937, it housed 38 beehives in its heyday. I have now turned it into a summer house. It is rather primitive but is equipped with a kitchen corner. Shower, sauna an we in a nearby building.
What else ...
I have a rowboat and bicycles you could use, possibly also a car. Loviisa has good public transport connections, bus station 5 minutes from my house. Public beach 5 minutes away.
