  Hello! We are a warm and welcoming family living in the serene suburbs of Kastoria, Greece. Our family consists of myself, my spouse, and our chid. We have always believed in the beauty of cultural exchange and the enriching experiences it brings. Our home is a place where diversity is celebrated, and we are excited to invite Workawayers to join us in sharing our daily lives and exploring Greek culture together.
  
  Our Project:
  
  Our project revolves around fostering a cross-cultural connection and creating a friendly environment for both our family and our future Workawayer. We are looking for a helping hand in light housework and maybe a few hours of assistance per day. As we juggle work, and other responsibilities, having an extra pair of hands to help with tasks like tidying up, light cleaning, and possibly meal preparation would be a wonderful support.

  Travellers who join us will have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Greek culture and lifestyle. From sharing traditional recipes to exploring the local customs and festivals, there's so much to learn and experience. Additionally, our family is excited to learn from you, hearing about your background, traditions, and stories from your home country. This exchange of ideas and perspectives will undoubtedly create lasting memories and broaden our horizons.

  We kindly welcome assistance for about 3-4 hours a day with tasks such as keeping our living spaces organized, helping with light cleaning, and maybe engaging in some simple gardening. Nothing too strenuous – just a bit of help to make our daily lives smoother.

  During your time off, you'll have the chance to explore the charming town of Kastoria and its surroundings. You could take leisurely walks around the beautiful Lake Orestiada, visit local markets, and even try your hand at water sports. If you're interested in history, the Byzantine churches and Ottoman architecture in the area are truly captivating. We'd be more than happy to suggest local attractions and help you make the most of your stay.

  Transportation within the town is easily accessible, and we can provide guidance on using public transportation. We're also open to offering occasional rides to nearby attractions if our schedules permit.
