Hey hey!
My name's Taylor, I'm an artist from the U-S-of-A and I love to travel :)
I'm a very proactive, self-starting type of person with a genuine happy-to-help attitude! Mature, responsible, thorough, and reliable are words I'd use to describe myself as far as work ethic goes. My nature is very easy-going, sweet, warm, friendly and playful. I'm a server and barista by day and I love what I do! I've been in customer service and hospitality for 15 years. My favorite part of my job is the people I meet. I love taking care of folks, making connections, and building community.

In my free time I love to write, dance, be in nature, sit at coffee shops, make art, throw pottery, and study whatever subject has my interest at the moment (right now that's Spanish!). My skills include (but are certainly not limited to): cooking, cleaning, serving, vending, internet/social media, basic graphic design, basic construction, photography, videography, hospitality, and arts & crafts. I'm also great with kids and animals! I am admittedly a novice at gardening and building, but I really enjoy doing both and am eager to learn more. Not afraid of getting my hands dirty and I catch on quickly. I would love to learn more Spanish, learn more about construction (the dream is to build/restore my own house someday!), lend a helping hand, and make some friends along the way :)

In Colorado I learned how to throw and I LOVED it. Anytime I can get my hands on clay I'm a happy gal.

I've loved photography since I was a teen! This is me assisting on a shoot for a musician friend who needed some promo shots. They turned out great :)

My first workaway troupe!!!<3333 This was us on our way to Boone, NC for a little weekend getaway! We worked on Tom's farm together in the Brushy Mountains and had a great time. You can read his review on my page :)

Me with my largest Ojo de Dios to date! Ojo de Dios (God's Eye) is a special type of Native weaving found in Huichol culture (NW Mexico/SW USA). They are emblems of protection, woven with prayer and intention. I learned how to do this while traveling in North Carolina under apprentices of Jay Mohler.
